Bloggers Age 50 and Over Wanted

are you a blogger age 50 or older,

If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you’d realize that today’s post should be another knit shirt post where we styled the same shirts from here in another way. And trust me…it’s all ready to go, but the company, Covered Perfectly, asked if I could wait to post the next two in the series, because they are almost sold out of these shirts. That’s what happens when you have such a good product.

So instead I wanted to help out a blogging friend for a project she’s starting! If you fit the bill and are interested, I hope you’ll join us. The form to apply is here.

Here’s her title and post:

Bloggers age 50 and older wanted

Well hello there! I am so happy you are here. Thank you for your interest in participating in my upcoming blog series, “Between the Lines” , look at over 50 bloggers.

I have been seeing a lot more blog posts lately about aging, makeup, grey hair, style, etc. for women of a certain age (wink)

This is what I have in mind- and it may change when I reach the 50 bloggers mark ( 50 bloggers over 50).

Each week for ten weeks I will feature 5 bloggers in a post with links to each blog. Each lovely lady will prepare a blog post simultaneously about participating in the “between the lines, a look at over 50 bloggers” post. It will include the answers to a few interview questions and an introduction to your blog with a minimum of three (images, one of which is your gorgeous face).
I hope you will do me the honor of being my guest. My goal is to have 50 bloggers over 50 by March 28th. Let me know if you have any questions. xo

The questions will be something like,
do you find you are challenged for readership as an over 50 blogger?
what nudged you into blog land?
what do you love about being an over 50 blogger?
what do you hate about being an over 50 blogger?
Please put into a few sentences what best describes your feelings about aging?
Do you think there is an age limit on blogging?
Does your blog have a theme directed at women over 50?

I’m not sure of them all just yet, but there will probably be about 10 and then the rest is a post all about your wonderful blog. images, etc.

Hugs!

And if you’d like to check out some of Jodie’s Touch of Style’s previous blog posts, you can always go to the past posts part of my blog (here).

Stay tuned for a special Sister Act Project tomorrow!!

  • I love florals. Since I’m petite I have to scale to size, but a dainty floral print top or shoes can be so cute!! Looking good Ladies!!

Thanks Shannon!! I’ve given up on the scaling to size (we’re all petites also) just to be a rebel. Sometimes I really think the fit is what makes/breaks it!!

      • Yep, totally agree with you. Fit is key!!!
