Brown for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: Paired with Red
Quote of the day: “When science finally locates the center of the universe, some people will be surprised to learn they’re not it.” Anonymous
Since brown is a darker neutral, I decided to go with a brighter color combination for the second in our series. The first post joined navy with the same neutral items (here). This red and brown mixture is perfect if you love wearing red, but feel the need to tone it down at times!
50’s Brown (Blouse): My mom always wonders how I can wear shoes with no socks when it’s cold outside. Well it certainly helps when your leggings are fur lined!
60’s Brown (Vest): The tassel necklace was a gift from me for Christmas. Be on the watch for more since she got a couple of them in different colors.
70’s Brown (Skirt): There was an option to wear brown boots instead of black, but I thought it might look too matchy?
