Fur for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Dressy Version
Quote of the day: “To establish true self-esteem we must concentrate on our successes and forget about the failures and the negatives in our lives.” Denis Waitley
As I stated in the last post (fur for a casual day, here), most of us tend to think of wearing our fluffy garments for a more formal occasion. Since our highlighted items are very different in nature, I tried to place them all in a dressy look. And as you can see in the pictures, all of our pieces came in slightly different color schemes (brownish, blackish, & greyish)!
50’s Fur (Collared Jacket): My OTK boots have gotten quite a bit of wear since I have purchased them. See the original analysis of these boots here.
60’s Fur (Vest): Nancy’s vest is a perfect way to “cover up” a dress instead of the usual cardigan or wrap.
70’s Fur (Scarf): A scarf is the perfect way to “fill in” that neckline of a cardigan!!
Scarf: Noelle (similar here)~~Pants:Clio (similar here)~~Cardigan Sweater: Circle Square (similar here-out of my usual price range but the only double breasted one I could find)~~ Top Underneath: Conrad C (similar here)~~Shoes: Anne Klein (here)~~Earrings: (similar here)

Now for some fur vests…they are quite the rage and I must admit to loving them (IMO they add quite a bit of energy to an outfit for very little $). If you don’t enjoy any of these, check out my facebook page on Friday for more options:
