It may look like an ordinary toilet seat, but if you notice there is an electrical cord coming from it….it’s heated!!! Okay….laugh if you must, but I think this invention is the best EVER…especially in the winter months. Yes, better than a toothbrush and better than sliced bread in my opinion.
It heats the seat about 20 degrees more than the ambient room temperature. It’s easy to use: just plug it into the wall when it’s cold, and unplug it in the summer (for me that’s about 2 months because our house is so cold). The only drawback is if you have a separate toilet room with no electrical outlet. Our answer to this problem was to call the electrician to fix this issue. I consider it so worth the money.
I purchased our first one (yes, we have two) over 10 years ago. We have since had to replace the original one once (like I said, it stays plugged in for probably 10 months of the year). I used to have to order it online but now I noticed it’s at Bed, Bath & Beyond so you should be able to use your B, B & B coupons if you go to the store (depending on availability). Notice that mine is for a round toilet, so if you have an elongated toilet check out Home Depot (here).
The cleaning of it is normal (just like a regular toilet seat…we use all the same products on it) and not squishy or padded like some toilet seats I’ve had in the past. To me, this is heaven on earth!!
Thanks to one and all of you for your support. It means more than you know.
Even if you wouldn’t consider purchasing your clothing online, it can be helpful to look through my links to see what is available! It certainly doesn’t hurt my feelings, if you click on them but don’t like them. Just so you know, one of the ways I make money from this blog is through these linked items.
