Lace for the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s: the Casual Version

Quote of the day: “Life is change…Growth is optional…Choose wisely…”  Anonymous

I know there is some type of lace item hanging in your closet as we speak—I can almost guarantee it!  It is traditionally thought of as a dressy/expensive item but in keeping with the spirit of the quote above, we’ll make it more modern by using it in a casual theme.  It is perhaps the last item in your closet that you would normally wear for running errands, but that’s what makes these casual outfits refreshing—by adding a little bit of the unexpected!

50’s Lace (Dress):  A great way to make any item more casual is with a leather jacket and leopard flats!

60’s Lace (Top): So if you want to wear this casual, almost workout jacket, to go out and run errands, how about adding some pizzazz?  That’s the word I would use to describe this lace shirt underneath the Eddie Bauer sporty cover-up.

70’s Lace (Tank top): This tank top has lace at the top portion only and is reversible…one side is a square neckline and the other side is a v-neck.  Don’t you think the outfit is sporty with a flair?
