Monday’s Amuse Bouche #4-Perfume Magazine Inserts

Amuse Bouche (ˈä-ˌmüz-ˈbüsh): literally translated into “mouth amuser”.  Wikipedia definition: a single, bite-sized hors d’oeuvre.

Jodie’s use of the term: a small hint or clever tip!  (Think Hints from Heloise!!)

If you get any fashion magazines in the mail, then you are familiar with the inserts that have smelly stuff in them!  They are also abundant in the sale ads in the newspaper around holiday times!!

I used to ignore them all until I was cleaning out my mother’s wardrobe and found some sachets!  It made me think that I could use these inserts in my dresser drawers instead of purchasing sachets!  You could certainly use them anywhere, but my favorite places are under my dirty clothes hamper, in the car and in my workout drawer (with my smelly shoes)!!  I’ve found they really hold their scent for a couple weeks!  If you’re storing it in a small drawer or area, you can always cut or tear it into the size you need (like below).
