The Pucci Print Shirt Goes Out on the Town

Quote of the Day: “Nobody looks crazy when they’re having fun.” Amy Piehler

Going out on the town is my way of saying we are getting dressed up! And this Pucci print blouse is perfect for a fancier occasion since it’s silky and colorful!

Okay…referring to the quote above, the three of us may all look crazy wearing the same shirt, but hey, what’s life without a little craziness?  Today we’ll take the same shirt I featured in my last two blogs out for a spin. I’m going for a more dressy moment.  You can see this exact shirt styled for a work day (here) or a casual day (here).

Jodie’s (50’s) Outfit: You may not think of shorts as dressy, but with the heels, I thought I could get away with it.

I left the ties of the blouse hanging down and kept my accessories simple for a change!!

Nancy (60’s) Outfit: Even though there isn’t any black in the shirt, I like it with the black skirt & heels!

I think the black works because there is navy in the pattern. I mean how many times have you questioned whether the color was navy or black?

A rhinestone necklace adds some relevant sparkliness!

Charlotte (70’s) Outfit: I had mom wear a belt over the waistband of her skirt.

I learned this trick from Tara’s blog Mix & Match Fashion and I think it adds a touch of pizzazz! And the nice thing is you don’t have to unbuckle it every time you go to the bathroom!

Making the same shirt work for your wardrobe for many different occasions, is the fun part of clothes and style!! And as you can see, the 3 of us are ready for a night on the town!!

I sincerely appreciate your time in reading my styling blog!

First, the blouse is fabulous! Second, you all look great! But, I have to say I am really loving on the blouse with the shorts, Jodie! Its unexpected and fresh looking! And the white sets off the colors so beautifully. And you know I’m going to love on those shoes!💞

      Thanks so much Rhona!!!
Now you’ll recognize the scarf in the post that’ll be out on Friday….and then adorning a hat next week!!!

Oh how I love a silky print blouse. I can never resist when I find a pretty one and, so, must have at least 100! 😱 All 3 outfits are pretty – yours is my favorite. That blouse, by the way, is just so pretty in so many ways.

    • Jodie Filogomo

I feel the same way about this blouse!! And funny—you’re going to be seeing it some time in May as a scarf (you know, that leftover material thing!!)

  • You all three look amazing!! Love how each of you styled the blouse.
    Cyndi

  • Way to go ladies! I love all three of you in that pretty blouse. And yes to the shorts!! 🙂

  • I love seeing everyone style the same piece – so fun to see all the different takes. I have to say I love it most with the grey pencil skirt – that just seems to fit the character of the bow blouse best.

    • Thanks Delilah! This weather is the bestest ever….not too hot, not too cold and definitely not wet!

  • I quite like your dressy shorts outfit. Classy.

I have to say the last photo with the Mom made blouse and Mom made skirt is my favourite though. It is almost as if you can see the love that went into creating those clothes.

  • I discovered this blog through one of my favorite blogs and I love this blog. I have started following you. I love the idea of an item of clothing styled three ways and for different ages. Being stylish is timeless and I think this blog captures that.
