White Ruffle Shirt for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Casual Version
Quote of the Day: “You can fail at what you don’t want–so you might as well take a chance at doing what you love.” Jim Carrey
And to finish off the series of posts for your white ruffle shirt, let’s get some good use out of it and wear it for your casual days! My philosophy is to wear the heck out of each article of clothing so you can (in good conscience) get rid of it and buy another one. This is called helping out the economy–ha ha! You can see these shirts styled oh so differently in the dressy version (here) and the business version (here).
50’s White Ruffle Shirt: A cardigan is the perfect pairing for this ruffle shirt to show off the ruffle! This is especially true when the sweater was obtained for free by winning it in a contest!
Ruffle Shirt: Ann Taylor (similar here)~~Pants: Desigual (similar here)~~Cardigan: Oakley Rose (similar here)~~Shoes: Payless (similar here)~~Necklace: Stella & Dot (similar here)~~Earrings: Stella & Dot (similar here)
60’s White Ruffle Shirt: Even though a ruffle shirt is basically formal because of the frill, I love the thought of contrasting components by pairing the frills with a nice fitting jean. Jeans & a cardigan make this blouse errand worthy.

70’s White Ruffle Shirt: Since the ruffle shirt is white, it’s a perfect reason to wear it with colored jeans instead of blue jeans for variety! Then, of course, we add the perfect accessories–a leopard belt and earrings!
