Our 3rd Blogaversary Celebrating You with a Giveaway & Link Up
Quote of the day: “You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.” Nancy D. Solomon
I wanted to celebrate our anniversary by celebrating you, the readers of Jodie’s Touch of Style. For without you continuing to read and support this journey, I would have no reason to continue.
So instead of showcasing us in this post, I’d like to include all of the women who have so generously worked with me; both bloggers and non bloggers alike. And don’t forget to enter the giveaway below.
And there’s more! In addition, I’m teaming up with my Bridging the Gap partner, Roxanne, in her Monday link up and a giveaway on Instagram!!!
The wonderful women who have joined me on the blog are showcased below, along with a fun video of the 3 of us. There is no particular order, but I wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you.
Clara
First there was a reader, Clara, who joined us in adding accessories to an outfit and wearing black in the summer.
Sheela & Eve
The mother/daughter blogging duo of Sheela & Eve who I’ve collaborated with many times now, and will again next month. These photos were from our ankle boot series, and we also joined in with them for a black & white series, borrow from the boys series, camo, capris, the combination of red and gold for the Chinese New Year, and tweed jackets, The very first time was when we were invited to join her Sister Act showcasing many generations of women.
Jess
We styled an autumn color of burgundy with Jess. I also interviewed her when she interviewed me!
Cathy
Then we worked with Cathy to think about what to wear to a funeral.
Jean
Jean gave us an idea to showcase some hats.
Jude
My reader, Jude, who has been a huge help iwith suggestions and even gifting us items has not only joined us in many blog posts, but met up with us in Seattle. She’s been featured in a series about leather skirts, athletic shoes, and white dresses. Along with the fact that she made my silver sneakers for me which are truly my go-to’s in every season! She also sent me some embellished jeans and helped me with the details for that post.
Jennie
Jennie is always so inspirational in how she mixes her prints, so I asked her to join with me for some lessons about it.
Rebecca
Rebecca is an organizational blogger, and so we went through our processes of approaching getting dressed as a recipe.
Joy
My cousin, Joy, joined in when we showcase my aunt’s (her mom’s) jewelry as the way to wear our sentimental items.
Lindsey
Lindsey has a featured fasthionista section and asked me to be part of it. Once she contacted me about this, I wanted to know more about her, so I asked her a couple of questions in return.
Terri

Cindy
Cindy, who I’ve met since she lives in Denver, joined us in a summer shirts series, and then even drove down to cheer us on at our local fashion show.
Mireille
Mireille was wonderful enough to join us on a couple of posts. One about what to wear on an airport trip, athletic shoes, and winter whites.
Amy
Amy, helped us show how our white blouses could be so versatile and joined us for a velvet style.
Lydia
Just last week, I was lucky enough to have Lydia join us for our Over the Knee boots series.
Karen
Karen is a reader who has joined with us in a couple of blog posts including athletic shoes, cardigans, along with transitioning our summer skirts.
Kathleen
Another reader who has actually gone back and read every single one of my posts from the beginning, then styled some outfits with us. This is from the blush series, and she also sent in photos for our latest camo series.
Sherry
Sherry is the brains behind the collaboration of the Fab Collab where we told stories about items from our past. It started with the pearl necklaces, and then we styled sundresses, plaid, Christmas wear, pastels, and lastly a summer getaway.
Jean & Carmen
Carmen , who is a blogger (on the left) and her daughter Jean (on the right) joined us when we discussed wearing a dress over jeans. It’s Jean’s shop, Drizzle and Shine that we visited when we had our blogger meet up in Seattle.
Gail
Gail joined with us to show off some velvet this year.
Cheryl
I joined with Cheryl for the Fierce 50 Campaign in February.
Roxanne
Then our Forever Fierce group had a campaign to bridge the gap between the millennials and midlifers! I chose Roxanne because she is in many ways the same kind of woman that I am. I’m also joining in on her link up party, so if you are a blogger, feel free to join in! And don’t forget to join both of us on Instagram for another fabulous giveaway!
Madelyn
Madelyn gave her ideas of how different aspects of our styling and putting together clothes could actually be good for our brain.
Suggestions
And then there were a bunch of you who have made suggestions for certain posts like MaryAnne who suggested a brown series. Then Ann asked about camisoles, and ways to wear them. Gail wanted to see about pants for dressy occasions.
There was the time a reader emailed me asked for ideas on how to dress slimmer. Not that I had the answer, but I tried to show different options in the series of posts.
My good friend, Maureen suggested styling some fringe when she started seeing it at all of the retail stores. Another blogger, Samantha, challenged us to style jumpsuits. And Janet has been wonderful about ideas for the blog. One of hers was tying in a Western Theme.
There was the one time that I had a reader request how to make her floral shirts not appear mumsy. Then Jill asked about a post regarding what to wear to an amusement park, so we came up with a post revolving around anytime you are walking all day. Jill also asked about how to style her school shirts to look nicer.
Blogging
So you can see how working with other women and trying to help certain styling issues is near and dear to my heart. Which is also why I’m excited to give you the chance to win $100 Nordstrom card below. And if you are on Instagram, I’m also joining with Roxanne who I met in our Bridging the Gap campaign to off another giveaway. Just think of all of the great gift cards you could win.
