Monday’s Amuse Bouche #6-Cabinet Organizers

Amuse Bouche (ˈä-ˌmüz-ˈbüsh): literally translated into “mouth amuser”.  Wikipedia definition: a single, bite-sized hors d’oeuvre.

Jodie’s use of the term: a small hint or clever tip!  (Think Hints from Heloise!!)

How do you keep all your small accessories in one place in your cabinets?  I found these cloth shoe organizers do the trick nicely.  I discovered this fabulous idea on (where else)…pinterest!

This type of organzier works great for my hand blender, my food processor (I actually cut the seam between two pockets so the blades fit in it), my measuring spoons and even our smaller pet supplies!   I used the entire storage piece in the linen closet for miscellaneous beauty necessities.  I even hung one in the garage for my painting materials!

First, I cut the organizer to fit the inside of the cabinet.  Then, I applied velcro on the top edge and bottom edge in order to hang it without damaging the cabinets!  They’ve been up for over a year, so the velcro has been strong enough in the kitchen.  When I used the full organizer in the linen closet, I did have to use two screws!

I found a great deal, over a year ago, from LTD Commodities! Houndstooth Closet Organizers (Here)

organzing I would have loved the clear pockets (like left) from Amazon (here). They are under $15

or Target has them also (here) (below) for about the same price—just not quite as clear.

      Thanks Sherry!!
I love to organizer and declutter….and finding new and interesting ideas is the best!!

  • Pretty way to keep things clutter free! I am always looking for new ways to keep my kitchen cabinets orderly and can definitely think of ways to incorporate this idea. I currently use large and small baskets to keep the clutter under control, but this is a nice option for even more space savings.

    • I use the baskets too, but more in my pantry!! Thanks for reading, Jennie!!!
