Black & White for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: Combined with Pastels
Quote of the day: “When I was young there was no respect for the young, and now that I am old there is no respect for the old. I missed out coming and going.” Joseph Priestley
Black & white are those two extremes that everyone has in their closets and everyone seems to love. I started this series almost a year ago (here) and decided to carry forward with even more combinations (it does seem truly endless). Many older women will say that pastels don’t look good on them anymore with their silver hair. Well, here’s a perfect way to continue to wear those lighter colors,if you still love them—combine them with your black & white items!
50’s Black & White (Dress): So I accidentally put two different earrings in each ear hole–maybe it should be a new trend? A great way to make one small earring look bigger?

60’s Black & White (Sweater): Since Nancy’s sweater is longer in the back, she felt fine wearing it with her leggings!
