This week, I was all over the place with outfits—monochromatic, architectural, and even fashion faux pas filled my days.
Thanks for joining me and happy styling inspiration.
I think you would enjoy signing up for the emails below. In addition to the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life, along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY
Even Annabelle wanted in on the action this morning.
This dress was a recent purchase from Just Be Youtiful and after my mom cut off 10 inches, I wanted to challenge myself to wear it for winter even though it’s sleeveless.
I wore my lace Halftee under it as well as my faux fur jacket (worn with flare jeans in the past). For the jacket, I attached the 2 ends behind me to create a wrap effect–otherwise, you wouldn’t see the dress at all.
The leopard boots, statement earrings, and hat finished off the look.
SUNDAY
It’s quite amazing how colors change when next to each other.
In my closet, the colors are:
Skirt: Olive green (seen here)
Top: Gold (recently won in a giveaway)
Jacket: Brown dyed denim from Just Be Youtiful
Sneakers: Gold (only $20 here-use COMFY10 for more savings)
Yet all of these together look almost monochromatically bronzish.
I added pops of red/burgundy with
-hat
-brooches (some gold)
-Belt-thrifted
-earrings
-a stack of bracelets
-multiple necklaces-hard to see so check the title photo

MONDAY
Since I was monochromatic yesterday, I figured I would continue that theme. This “mod” dress was found thrifting last weekend.
The colors are pink and orange, but I was surprised how this lilac jacket matched so well.
Talk about yin/yang or dichotomy:
1-Price points. While it’s all thrifted, the jacket is Escada and the dress is Wild Fable (Target).
2-Style vibes. The dress is mod and has a 60s vibe. The jacket is feminine with luxury airs. And the boots are Western.
TUESDAY
I wouldn’t have bought this boilersuit except my friend who was shopping with me was wearing a similar one. And it was so cute.
So when I found this one at the thrift store, I figured why not?
Insider tip: It had stains on it, but I used my handy dandy Laundry Love book for info on how to get them out. Tada.
I layered my heart blouse under the boiler suit and left it half unzipped while adding other pops of red.
I’m wearing those heart earrings that I saw are on sale for only $10.

WEDNESDAY
Oversized blazer with wide-leg jeans. A definite no-no if you follow the fashion rules, but who has fun by playing it safe?
I wore these jeans on our summer trip to Idaho because they are lightweight and cute.
The two-toned blazer I just picked up at Goodwill and I thought the two-toned booties went perfectly with the outfit.
Booties: Under $35 with code COMFY10.
Then I created a turtleneck from this beautiful scarf my friend gave me. It adds an entirely different color, texture, and warmth to the look.
Yes, I’m wearing my same heart earrings because they pop so well against my hair. AND it’s heart season.
FRIDAY
I was inspired by a video that Just Be Youtiful shared on her FB page to make a longer, knit skirt more architectural.
I used the cardigan pins to keep it in place although since the skirt is a knit, you could use safety pins.
I kept with the asymmetrical/architectural theme by putting on my cardigan (you’ve seen it here) upside down and I just tucked one end on my shoulder and kept it in place with a flower pin (my mom made it).
I even added the same boots I wore on Monday, and then statement gold earrings made by a local designer.
