Daily Looks: Week Ending 2.2.24

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

We had warm weather for half of the week and then it cooled down again. But I’m working hard to wear most of my sweaters and boots before it’s too hot.
If you follow along on my Instagram Stories, you might have seen how I transformed Tuesday’s outfit for the afternoon when it was over 75 degrees.

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

Saturday

Pants: Vintage~~Sweater: Sundance-thrifted~~Loafers: New Bella-won in a giveaway

I’m wearing these suede pants as much as possible before it gets too warm. They are a bit big in the waist so I used my Beltless Belt from Etsy.

Then I created a “twin set” with this lace-edged turtleneck and this short-sleeve textured sweater. I thrifted this sweater over 8 years ago because it’s not something I could knit myself.

For the daytime, I’m wearing these loafers, but for our date night tonight, I’ll be putting on some heeled booties. Since my hair is pulled back with my faux ponytail (I bought it in dark blonde), I added statement glasses.

Sunday

Somebody on Instagram sent me a video which I used as inspiration for my outfit. BTW, I love it when my readers do this because we can all learn new things.
Anyway, my outfit looks nothing like the inspiration, but it made me think of wearing one of Rob’s cardigans backward.

This cardigan is kind of his, kind of mine. I knit it for me before he was even in the picture, but because it’s so oversized, he wears it too.
Insider detail: It doesn’t drape the same as the inspiration cardigan, but I still like the look.

Everything is super old, even the boots that were showcased in one of Oprah’s Favorite Things and they were from Payless. They have held up amazingly over the years.
I am wearing a belt in the front half to crop the cardigan (I’ve shared this trick in this video). If you are wearing a skirt or pants instead of a dress, you could possibly tuck it into your bra.

Monday

Pants: Banana Republic Factory~~Jacket: Steve Madden-Your Revolving Closet~~Sneakers: Vintage Havana-Macys

These cargo joggers are the ones I saw in the store and then ordered online because the customer service in the store was SO awful. I almost wish I had ordered the XS instead of S, but Rob and I need to put on a couple of pounds anyway.

These worked perfectly for our dog training day.

I went with a column of the color of this dark purple/burgundy and then added my favorite jacket from Your Revolving Closet. Even though this dark purple is not in the jacket, I think it contrasts beautifully.

Both my mom and I bought these cute white sneakers (with sequin stars on the side) yesterday while shopping at Macy’s. Since we got them at the BackStage part of Macy’s, they were under $20, but gosh on their website, the brand is very expensive.

I also wore a pair of earrings made by a pair of sisters on Instagram named Lil Shop of Ours.

Tuesday

Skirt: Hyfve-Your Revolving Closet~~Sweater: Salt & Light~~Shoes: Ros Hommerson (formerly Walking Cradles)

The first time I wore this skirt, I paired it with black tights and boots, so this time I wanted to see how brown would go with it. I was shocked to realize that I don’t have dark brown boots, so I opted for these bronze mules instead.
Confession, I do have a dark brown pair of booties but they are high heels, and I knew I’d be standing a lot today.

I always like a collared top under a crew sweater, so I wore this silk hoodie that copied the brown from the bottom half of the look.

And don’t you just love this polka-dot sweater? I think it’s a great print mix option since the green plaid skirt is very muted and almost looks solid from far away.

Wednesday

Skirt: no label-thrifted~~Blazer: Express from Your Revolving Closet~~Boots: Madden Girl-Macys

I found these boots on sale at Macy’s when I went shopping with my mom for her birthday and couldn’t pass them up. They remind me of my white pair that I wear all the time.

I feel like I wear shorts and shorter skirts more in the winter because I can pair them with tights or tall boots and feel more covered.

Of course, I would wear the boots with other colors besides blue, but my newest box came in from Your Revolving Closet and had this blazer in it, so I thought, why not?

BTW, I had 3 random compliments on the boots during the day, and 2 of them were from guys.

Friday

Skirt: Banana Republic Factory~~Vest: Express-Your Revolving Closet~~Boots: Donald Pliner-thrifted

I wanted to wear this “rented” vest once more before I sent it back. The menswear vests are so trendy right now, as I recently showcased many ways to wear them.

Everything is old and from my closet.
Print sweater: 6 color combinations with a pink print sweater
Camo t-shirt under it: Seen with how to style camo
Both the skirt and boots are old too but I can’t remember which posts they are in.

I have two of these satin midi skirts from Banana Republic Factory and both of them are not holding up so great. Yet my satin one from Target seems much better made. When I say better made, it’s the material used, because this one (and the green one from this post) are getting fuzzy.

The sweater was an incredible thrifted deal for $2 and it’s a Givenchy Sport.

Thank you
