Daily Looks: Week Ending 2.21.25

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

This is a week of huge variety in clothing items and color combinations.

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY

We were off to meet a college friend and I wanted to dress a little more subdued because she isn’t crazy into fashion like I am.

Yet, the funny thing is that when we were walking around Old Towne Scottsdale, I received so many compliments.

Both the sweater and blouse were from the Anthro outlet and then instead of just blue jeans, I grabbed these grey barrel jeans.
I have to admit that I love these barrel jeans even though the style has been the subject of a ton of controversy.

As I always say, just because something is “named” one thing, doesn’t mean all things named that are created equal.

The thrifted booties (from our trip to Idaho this summer) matched perfectly.

SUNDAY

The restaurant we visited for our anniversary (called Valentines) has a vintage store in the back and I found this blazer for $35.

Yes, the sleeves are crazy, but that’s what makes it fun.

I wore it over a pair of black shorts and added the printed hosiery for fun.

The zebra mesh top is a Halftee (use code Jtouch20) and then I also wore zebra heels from when Walking Cradles was in business. The company that bought WC still has the same manufacturing methods to create comfortable shoes if you are looking. (Usually, I have a code Jodie10—if it’s not working, let me know).

MONDAY

Good thing I had my outfit picked out ahead of time because my mom called in the morning to have me take her to Urgent Care. She’s fine, but it was a rush getting ready.

I wore these gold sequin pants with burgundy earlier this year.

Because the pants are wide and full, I wore this striped cardigan with it. It’s pretty open so I added a striped Halftee and this fur collar (thrifted years ago).

I held the collar together with 2 magnets and then added a brooch. PLUS a brooch on the waistband to add decoration.

These shoes are $15 from the Online discontinued shoe site I adore. Use code Comfy10 for a discount.

TUESDAY

I’m trying to go through my closet and wear some of the things I haven’t worn for ages.

Like these cropped flare jeans that were less than $1 at Marshalls years ago.

I went with a monochrome look with the fuzzy pink sweater and then added green accents with my boots, “necklace” and glasses.

This necklace is a home decor tassel held together with this clasp. I then added a pin on it to give it more sass.

WEDNESDAY

I was inspired by Mireille’s outfit of wearing a vest as a dress–who was inspired by Laura’s idea.

My vest is much shorter than the other two women, and I could have worn full tights. But since it was warm outside, I wore thigh socks with my tall boots instead. These boots are under $40 and come in a variety of colors. Use code Comfy10.

It seems short, right? That’s why I have lace shorts on under it.

This sheer studded top was worn under a knit dress last summer.

My belt is a man’s tie and I wore statement silver earrings.

The funny thing is I wore this same vest with the tie belt over my white dress in the fall.

THURSDAY

I had pulled out this jacket last week and didn’t wear it, so I figured I would try an outfit with it this week.

At first, I thought this was a unique color combination, but the blazer gives off a pink overall look, and pink and green is a favorite of mine.
I just added shades of brown to it.

BTW, these boots are under $15 and I absolutely love them. Use code Comfy10 for an extra discount.
Maybe it would have been better to hide the knee socks, but I love the overall look.

FRIDAY

I joined up with another clothing rental site for the free month because I LOVED it when I had my site. This one is called Fashionista Fantasy and her site gives you 5 pieces in each box. It’s also brands that I’m not familiar with.

That long introduction was because that’s where the pants came from. I like them, and had fun styling them.

I paired them with this age-old vest from The Limited (that’s how old it is) and it’s been worn years ago with leggings (not my favorite look).

Then I grabbed this workout top to make a twinset (remember, it’s smart not to categorize your clothing) and put on my pink Mary Janes.
A white feather necklace and pink earrings to finish it off.

Thank you
