I saw a woman in one of my FB groups post a photo saying she’s practicing styling for happiness. I adore that idea and even when an outfit isn’t my favorite (Friday’s), it’s all practice, right?
I think you would enjoy signing up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY
The skirt is another item from the clothing rental site I am using for a free month.
I love the color combination of green and light blue so I wore this lightweight daisy sweater from Just Be Youtiful. My crew wore this sweater last spring.
Colorful sneakers are having a moment so I wore these multi colored ones from DSW.
The outfit felt plain so I added 4 different length necklaces (using my ring adjuster to make one shorter) and this pearl beret.
SUNDAY
The pants and blouse are both from the clothing rental site and even though one is dressy and the other is casual, I wanted to see how they would work together.
I added this handknit shrug. But after these photos, I also added magnets on the shoulders so the shoulders would stay put (I hate futzing with my outfits during the day).
The embellished flats are under $25…don’t size up because they run a tad big. Use code COMFY10 for a discount.
I even added the pearl sheer socks to make it more feminine.
And a pink hat to hide the hair.

TUESDAY
I’m a sucker for fun layering, and this outfit is the result of 3 pieces.
1-A navy halftee worn with dresses showcased years ago.
2-This crochet hi-low topper was worn with a tank top in summer.
3-This sleeveless dress
I wore these Naomi Mary Jane flats, which I will be reviewing soon. OMG, they are truly fabulous and comfy compared to normal flat Mary Janes.
The cream print belt added some extra “swagger” (a Helen Mirren term) and then these statement wood earrings.
The earrings, belt, and crochet topper are all from Just Be Youtiful and I painted the earrings with white polish so they show up against my hair.
WEDNESDAY
I had a blood test today, which is why you see the gauze around my elbow and why I wore short sleeves. It was also a warm day—yippee!!!
I have become a huge fan of flowy over flowy, even though that breaks the rules we’ve learned. I’ve showcased these cropped pants with five different footwear types.
And then this chartreuse vest was worn with leggings in the past.
My extras:
-Green print heels.
-Polka dot scarf held together with a scarf clip.
-Green belt.
-Green glasses.

THURSDAY
We ran errands and ended up stopping at Goodwill. However, this is NOT the skirt to wear for thrifting. I like wearing a skirt so I can try on other skirts and pants under it, but this one was too flowy and hard to maneuver.
I also wore a hand-knit cardigan that I knitted long ago. You can see it at its normal length in this cardigan hack article…it’s #7- upside down.
Today, I used a straight shawl pin to “crop” it.
And yes, I wore the Naomi Mary Jane flats again because I want to make sure to wear them a lot before I review them.
FRIDAY
It’s not my favorite outfit, but like I said at the top, I’m practicing. I can’t quite figure out what’s wrong. Maybe I need a skirt that mirrors the same flowyness instead of straight shorts?
These shorts I DIYed from pants and explained all the easy steps in an article.
The wrap top is from the clothing rental place that I’m trying out for free for a month. I added the silver bow brooch at the waist.
Since the top was low, I wore my pink bra, which looked like a cami.
I wanted to add whimsy with the knee socks and matching sneakers.
