Daily Looks: Week Ending 4.19.24

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

It was a rough week. I had a headache the entire time and even went to the chiropractor twice. And considering how much we had planned, I plugged along and worked through the pain. Heck, I even took Advil 3 out of the days and that’s unusual for me.
In my working and unhealthy days, I ODed on Advil all of the time, so I try not to take it now.

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

Sunday

Dress: Express-Your Revolving Closet~~Sneakers: Vintage Havana-Macys

This is one of those dresses that I see and admire, but think I can’t pull it off. Yet I hate it when people say that, so I decided to request it in my Your Revolving Closet box. It’s more lime green in person, but it’s described as lemon yellow.

And it seems very va va voomish. Not my normal style, but I definitely felt sexy in it.

I added a wide white belt that I found thrifting recently and sneakers.

Insider tip: Belts are one of my top 5 items to buy while thrifting.

Then I decided to really make the outfit stand out with this embroidered beret from Just Be Youtiful. The earrings were a fabulous match with the beret and I was ready for church.

BTW-Rob asked me to buy this dress. He loved it on me.

Monday

Skirt: Skylar Madison-Your Revolving Closet~~Vest: Chicos from Sonya~~Boots: Impo

You might be surprised at the hose and boots today. Man, the wind was cold on our morning walk, and since I already had this outfit planned for the day, I had to improvise.

Both the mini skirt and lace shirt are from Your Revolving Closet. The slit of the skirt is VERY high, so print hosiery was the way to go.

One of my readers who lives in the area brought a bunch of clothes for me to find a home for, and that’s where I picked up this vest. Thanks, Sonya!!

And these boots have been a favorite for years. I even love to wear them with shorts as I did here.

Tuesday

Jumpsuit: Sacred Threads-Just Be Youtiful~~Shirt; Halftee~~Mules: J Jill

I had to snag this jumpsuit when we were at Just Be Youtiful. Especially because it can be transformed into a dress by stepping into one of the legs with both of your legs.

Today I wore it with a Halftee (this green one of their new colors) and a belt. But in the dead of summer, it will be nice because it’s loose and lightweight.

Insider tip: Jtouch20 gives you 20% off anything on the Halftees site. These have been a tremendous stying aid when you want the coverage but not the extra material around your trunk area.

I thought the light pink mules were a great option for the day. And if you have and wear mules, then you need the Sheec half socks. In fact, I just ordered a couple more pairs.

Thursday

Jeans: Old Navy~~Sweater: Pols-Just Be Youtiful~~Sneakers: Converse-thrifted

It’s no secret that I’m in love with this sweater. Maybe it’s the light blue color, or maybe it’s the daisies. I’m not even sure this blue is a good color for me, but I love it so much that I bought one for my mom and Lesley and you’ll see us styling them soon.

Insider tip: Just Be Youtiful had a few more of these sweaters available. I think they were $50. Reach out to her on her FB page and use code Jtouch15.

On a whim, I ordered these wide-leg pants from Old Navy in peach. They are still available and the petite size was the perfect length.

Then the light blue sneakers were a thrifted find from our recent foray with Mireille and Cathie. They had never been worn and I got them for $8.

I have a chiropractor appointment this morning, and I am hurting, so the hair got hidden under a hat.

Friday

Shorts: Joe Fresh-thrifted~~Top: Banana Republic~~Boots: Journee Collection c/o “Kayden”

This may not be the time of year you think about wearing ankle boots but these are on sale for only $30 and come in a bunch of colors. While most people think of shorts and sandals together, I know we have 6 months of sandal weather coming soon, so I’m trying to wear my closed-toe shoes for a couple more weeks.

Camo isn’t high on the fashion radar anymore, but I like to wear what I like. These shorts were the best thrift find years ago, and I’ve worn them with any and every color.

Today I’m print mixing with the red floral top.

Since there was a lot of print in the outfit, I chose statement metal earrings from a local designer.

Thank you
