Daily Looks: Week Ending 5.23.25

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

It was a week of variety with clothing and colors. That’s my favorite type of week.

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY

I was off to spend some time playing in another woman’s closet (meet Yvette).

My thoughts when getting dressed is I needed to be able to move around easily, which is why I chose these lightweight joggers from Just Be Youtiful.

Then a colorful top and a 3rd color with my beret and extras instead of matching.

The joggers have a tie front, so I tucked the ties into the pants and put a brooch over where they come out of the waistband.

My hot pink beret, earrings (still available in all different colors for under $7), bracelet, and sandals were the sass.

SUNDAY

Playing in Yvette’s closet yesterday had me inspired to show her how I wore this “skirt” as a top. 5 years ago I showed how you could wear this floral skirt on all parts of your body.

Today, I wore it as a top but upside down from the way I made it into a top 5 years ago. This time the waistband is at my waist and the hemline is towards my neck.
I made it into a one-shoulder top with a hair elastic to hold the excess material.
Here is the video of 2 options for wearing the skirts as a top.

Worn over a dress, this way negates the worry about a strapless bra.

And I’m wearing my Cariuma black floral sneakers with my bendable necklace as a bicep cuff.

MONDAY

I must be in a lime green mood. I could say this outfit was inspired by Kermit.

The shorts are short, but they don’t seem as short since they are loose and flowy.

I wore pink sandals and statement earrings, and what you don’t see are the pink sparkle bracelets.

The top is pretty long, so I folded it up underneath itself in the front, and then pulled the back together before tucking it in.
It’s a great, summer-weight top from Just Be Youtiful boutique last summer.

TUESDAY

I joined Kym from Just Be Youtiful as a stylist at a fashion show at a woman’s house today.

The dress is really a maxi skirt with long ties. I wore this polka dot top (worn as a bright color in my color recipe with pink pants), pulled the skirt up over my girls and wrapped the ties up and around to create a belt using my scarf clip.

Then I wore my floral sneakers and pink earrings/bracelet.

WEDNESDAY

I was embracing dopamine dressing today. I pulled out these orange faux wrap pants and decided to add in more color with the top.

At least I kept it toned down with my gold sandals (from Ros- still available in some sizes and on sale–try code JODIE10, although I’m not sure my discount is still valid).

I accessorized with gold delicate jewelry and wore my faux hair bun.

FRIDAY

I saw this handknit vest I knit last year and couldn’t remember if I had worn it yet. I think I need to hang it in a different place in my closet. It was hanging with the sleeveless tops, but maybe I’ll put it with the toppers.

I layered it over a striped blouse (the blouse has been layered over another top in the past and buttoned behind me).

The skirt was worn with a more colorful outfit 2 years ago. I added blue textured sandals for a doctor’s appointment visit today.

Thank you
