Daily Looks: Week Ending 9.9.2022

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

Unique, whimsical, fun…those are the adjectives I love to think about as I’m getting dressed. I know autumn is the time most bloggers are talking about trends (and I will soon), but even with trends, I like making them ME!

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

Saturday

Dress: Kancan~~Sandals: Franco Sarto

I won this dress from an Instagram giveaway and it will be so versatile since it buttons all the way down. I just realized I could remove the belt which is a nice feature.

Even though it’s denim, I added sparkle with the collar necklace and gold sandals.

These sandals needed a little moleskin (found on Amazon) so they wouldn’t rub, but now they are wonderful.

Monday

Top: Franscescas~~Shorts: Made from pants~~Boots: Ccocci-Goodwill

Today I wanted to try out my breast tape again so I grabbed this top. I think I’ve finally figured out some of the tricks in using this tape. Of course, I’m almost through the entire thing, but I’ll keep practicing so I can give you better information by next spring.

If you want to check it out, the brand is Risque, and with my link and code (JTOUCHOFSTYLE) you get 10% off.

I was inspired by my friend, Mireille, to pair booties with shorts. This pair of booties is a mule pair that I found at Goodwill for $8. I like how they are so pointed, and light-colored!

The shorts I transformed from a pair of suede pants that I didn’t wear much. Here is the article describing how I did it, and the before and after.

And just to add more “extra” to the look, I pinned a brooch to the top’s neckline.

Tuesday

Dress: Chaps-preloved~~Shoes: Abound

I wanted something easy to put on this morning because the arborist was coming early!! And when I think easy, I think dresses.

I’m print mixing, can you tell?? My sandals are a snakeskin print.

And I wanted to add a totally different color using my jewelry. Can you tell, I have had this love affair with turquoise lately?? The proof was the turquoise jewelry post earlier this week!!

BTW, the earrings and one of the bracelets are from a local woman, Sally Hoffman Designs. Please visit her site and give her some love!!

Wednesday

Dress: from online Just Be Youtiful~~Duster: no label~~Sandals: Walking Cradles “Nella”

We are taking a tour of our area today, so the attire needs to be comfy. This dress is from the Just Be Youtiful site (Jtouch15-gives you 15% off) and is so soft and easy to wear.

Instead of tying the white ties in front, I added a brooch to the center and tucked the ties into the pockets (I used my Maggie’s magnets to keep them in place.)

The duster was originally my mom’s but she gave it to me. It’ll be nice to be covered when we are in the sun (plus it will hide any sweat stains).

I also wore my Walking Cradles sandals and I think the gold just goes with everything. These are the “Nella” and there are a couple of pairs still available.

My hat is white with light blue on it to keep the sun off my face!

Thursday

Skirt: Lattelier c/o Use code Jto25 ~~Top: Lattelier c/o~~Sneakers: Jambu

I don’t wear all black often, but I do like having variety in my life. These two pieces were sent for me to try out this new brand called Lattelier.

It’s one of those sites that only show young models, yet so many of the items would be perfect for the likes of us.
What I have learned by getting these pieces, is the quality is quite impressive. This is not your usual young girl’s online site. Granted the prices aren’t cheap either.

Insider detail: They are offering a 25% discount. Use code Jto25

And this pair of sneakers is one of the . I hope you pop over to see what they have. Hopefully, I’ll have a discount code to share with you soon.

Friday

Pants: My New Day-Target~~Tops: Radzoli & the other thrifted~~Shoes: Marc Fisher

I wanted to see about layering 2 different sheer tops together. You can see the top one here with my halftee 2 years ago. The other I thrifted thinking it would be a great “jacket”, but it can also be a wonderful layering shirt.

These linen pants are perfect for our heat. They are from last year and are so lightweight I feel like I’m not wearing anything.

And the colorful shoes add that touch of extra that I always like. The best part is that I won them in a giveaway.

Thank you
