Styling Fall Outfits with Comfortable Booties for Women by Jambu Footwear
Outfits with comfortable booties for women can be a challenge. Therefore, I chose this quote today, because I feel amazingly blessed to be able to showcase items for companies that could make your life so much better.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you know how booties reign for the colder seasons. Of course, it’s even better when they are comfortable booties for women of all ages like Jambu is showing for this season. We’ve partnered with Jambu many times in the past, and we are happy to be wearing their footwear again.
It’s amazing how popular the comfortable shoe posts have been when I look back at my statistics. I guess this means that comfort is important to most of us when finding shoes. Truthfully, I have gotten spoiled now that I’ve found companies that take comfort and style to the next level. In the last post we all wore flats with our outfits to show that there are cute flats of many kinds.
All three of us are wearing the Rimini bootie with different kinds of fall outfits. These comfortable booties for women come in black and plum and have wonderful traction on the bottom. Anyone else ever put on new booties and almost fall on your tush because the sole is slippery? That won’t happen with these.

Why I Wore This Outfit
Ever since we started wearing ankle boots with dresses, I’ve been hooked. I realize this isn’t the look we were raised wearing. Dresses are dressy and call for heels or feminine shoes. I think boots seem more masculine and clunky. So it’s probably that dichotomy in thinking that makes me love it so much.
This dress was a hand me down from one of my friends recently. I wanted to play up the colors in it with this teal jacket, although my brown jacket would have looked nice too.
How You Could Change This Outfit
On Instagram, I’ve had a couple of discussions about how I feel more comfortable with my body the older I’ve gotten. Certainly not because it looks better, but because I realize that I’ll never be perfect. And it’s very freeing to realize that.
I say this because I realize that many women may view this dress as too short. And if you have a dress you feel this way about, I have three options for you. 1-Add leggings to it to make it more like a tunic. 2-Pair it with OTK boots to cover up most of the leg. Or 3-give it to me!! LOL!
This purse is definitely one of my favorites. I notice that I tend to grab this one more in the colder months because it’s black. Yet the design is one that works all year long. I have to thank my mom for discovering it in one of the Las Vegas airports when we were there a couple of years ago.
Nancy’s (70+) Outfits with Comfortable Booties for Women Look
Why Nancy Wore This Outfit
I’m so glad that Nancy paired this black top with her navy print jeans. The jeans themselves have both navy and black in them, so I think it’s a great way to get used to these colors next to each other.
This is also a perfect example of how ankle pants and ankle boots go so perfectly together. For those of you who thought that ankle pants are only for the warmer months, this is why they work year round. It makes it easier not to have to worry about whether you need to cuff your jeans or tuck them into the boots.

Since this is a dark outfit, you could add some color to it with a jacket. Denim jackets are always a good idea, and now you can find them in all sorts of colors. That green one and this pink one are both half price, but there are other colors available too.
I love how Nancy even incorporated a little print mixing in her outfit with the print pants and striped bead necklace. We have experimented with print mixing many times on the blog. It may not be your first thought when putting together an outfit, but home and clothing designers use this trick all the time.
Charlotte’s (80+) Outfit
Why Charlotte Wore This Outfit
If you know my mother, then you know how she loves to continue a color throughout her outfit. Since she chose the plum booties, she found a top that was basically the same color. And then, of course, found other purple in her closet to wear throughout her entire look.
My mom is showing a different way to wear ankle booties by having her pants cover the top portion of the ankle boot.

Since most women don’t have a pair of lilac pants, there are many other colors of pants or jeans that would work swimmingly. For example white jeans are truly my go to’s because they will pop the other colors so nicely. I know everyone also has black pants, and that would make this outfit darker and more subtle.
Another idea that would be on trend this fall, would be plaid pants. In my Fall Trends post, I talked about how plaid is hot right now. And if you’re one of those, that still has a pair from your working days, this is the perfect time to pull them out.
This button pin came from a church bazaar back from when my mom lived in Ohio. That means it’s over 20 years old. Since she has trouble keeping the neckline of this top in place, she was ecstatic to find a functional way to fix this.
Tips & Tricks for Outfits with Comfortable Booties for Women
Jambu is known for it’s comfort factor. And I love the fact that they don’t skimp on style even though they fit well. The company has a memory foam footbed inside their shoes along with great traction on the soles. I know most of us don’t think about bottoms of your booties when buying them, but these have a fun design there. Granted it’s functional too, which makes it even better. It’s all combined to make the idea of outfits with comfortable booties for women easy to style.
As for this pair of Jambu booties, let me give you some insight into the fit. We all ordered our normal size, and they run very true to size when you’re barefoot. Yet if you like to wear socks with your booties especially heavy socks, then you are going to want to size up a half size. I even tested this out with my mom’s pair, since she is a half size bigger than me. Although since they are leather, they will stretch somewhat. In fact, after wearing my pair a couple more times, I was glad I got my normal size.
The nice thing about this Rimini bootie is the fact that the shaft is quite low. In fact, this makes it easier to wear with your jeans if you always wonder about tucking them or cuffing them. Most of your jeans should end right at the top of this bootie especially your ankle length pants. Yet I also think these work so well with skirts and dresses. My mom is always concerned about cutting off the leg line with ankle boots, and this one isn’t as high.
This post is a collaboration with Jambu. I feel so blessed to be able to work with companies that I think you will appreciate and that help cover my blogging costs. Thanks for supporting the companies that support our antics!
