Since leopard is trending for fall again this year, I thought showcasing options for what color jewelry goes with leopard print would be fun.
Quote of the day: “Regard yourself as a cloud, in the flesh, because you see, clouds never make mistakes. Did you ever see a cloud that was misshapen? Did you ever see a badly designed wave? No, they always do the right thing. But, if you will, treat yourself for a while as a cloud or a wave and realize that you can’t make a mistake whatever you do. Because even if you do something that appears totally disastrous, it will all come out in the wash somehow or another. Then through this capacity, you will develop a kind of confidence. And through confidence, you will be able to trust your own intuition.” Taoism: Way Beyond Seeking
There is no right or wrong when it comes to figuring out what color jewelry goes with leopard print.
Sure, there are colors that pop or show up better than others. That means you need to know your goal when you add your accessories.
There are a ton of fabulous leopard jewelry pieces at the stores but beware about wearing them with your leopard clothing. They could blend in and then you don’t notice them.
Leopard Print and Jewelry
If you constantly match the color of your accessories to what you’re wearing, you might be disappointed that you don’t notice the jewelry.
For me, if I’m going to take the time to add those extras to my look, I want them to be noticed. So here are my suggestions for what color jewelry goes with leopard print.
Feel free to try what you have in your jewelry cabinet and make sure to take a selfie to see how it looks.
I have a variety of other articles for what color jewelry to wear with certain colors.

Metallics Including Bronze, Silver, Rose Gold & Yellow Gold
All metallic jewelry should be fabulous with leopard print. Your true leopard print is made of browns, blacks, and whites, all neutrals.
Metallics would also be considered neutral and pair well with the print.
For this example of what color goes with leopard print, I chose rose gold earrings.
Here are my rationales for why the variety of metallics works with this neutral print:
-Bronze picks up the hues of the browns in leopard.
-Rose & yellow gold work with the warmth of the browns.
-Silver lends to the coolness of black and contrasts against it.
Straw or Rattan Jewelry
While this example is not a true leopard print, but more of a brown zebra, it would work for the brown and black leopard print too.
Since most leopard prints have some white or ivory as part of them, the straw earrings keep the look lighter and very appropriate for the warmer months.
Pearls as Jewelry to go with Leopard
Pearls go with anything and everything, right? While my photo example of what color jewelry goes with leopard print shows a lilac leopard, pearls would work with any color leopard clothing.
As an aside, here is an example of silver earrings with a leopard print also.
Insider tip: I find the best long pearl necklaces while thrifting.
Jewelry that Goes with Leopard-Contrasting Bright Colors
Personally, I like my jewelry to show up if I’m taking the time to put it on. That’s why I always suggest finding contrasting colors of jewelry for your outfit.
That’s one reason I grabbed this mint-colored necklace to pair with the pink leopard dress.
Insider tip: If you worry that one colorful item will look unintentional, then use that color 3 times in your look. For example in the outfit showcased above, the mint color is seen in my necklace, earrings, and footwear (not shown).
Choose the Color of Other Clothing Items
Instead of concentrating on what color goes with leopard print, put your focus on the color of the other clothing items you’re wearing.
In this instance, I’m wearing a pink color-blocked jacket with my leopard tunic. The warm color jacket brings out the warmth of the leopard print.
And therefore, I wore pink jewelry to pull the colors together in the look.
