Finding Comfy Shoes for Wide Feet with a Neutral Look
Charlotte is showcasing one of the styles of Jambu that falls into the category of comfy shoes for wide feet. This is a continuation of our collaboration with the shoe company and details of what that means is at the end of the post.
Quote of the day: “A business that makes nothing but money is a poor kind of business.” Henry Ford
This quote is exactly why we continue to work with Jambu again and again. They have fabulous footwear that is not only comfortable but also stylish. They’ve also started to carry more comfy shoes for wide feet which is beneficial for many.

Just like I talked about in my recent post with my pink denim jacket, it’s fun to have variety for our third pieces. While this tan color is a neutral, it’s not a color you see as much as the blue denim jackets or even black ones.
The reason this tan color comes across almost as a yellow is because it’s a warm tan.
There is definitely a difference between warm neutrals and cool neutrals. The distinction can mean a piece that is good or bad for your complexion.
Insider tip: I had the hardest time figuring out between warm and cool colors at first. I’m sure I’m not always right even now, but I think it’s like everything. The more you study or practice, the easier it becomes. Joining the Color Style Group on Facebook has helped me quite a bit.
This group is available when you join subscribe to the newsletter.
Mom Made It
If you noticed in the outfit details, Charlotte made many of the items in this outfit. In fact, it’s one reason she said she would splurge on shoes, because she couldn’t make those herself.
For the owl top, she made the t-shirt from fabric that had been donated to her. And then she found the applique at Joann Fabrics!! If you are new to the blog, then you might not realize that my mother has an owl obsession.
Here’s another fabulous way to wear a scarf!!! Charlotte wrapped it around her neck, but tucked it into the shirt. Basically like an ascot. In a way, it’s acting as a collared shirt without all of the bulk around your midsection.
It also provides some warmth around your neck (or sun protection as the case may be) but not too much warmth like a full shirt.
Comfy Shoes for Wide Feet
This Jambu Sahara Mary Jane shoe is a style that Jambu has available in wide also. Charlotte doesn’t wear a wide, but it is available in all of the same colors in the wide version. It comes in this color which is called tan, along with red, charcoal, champagne shimmer, earth and light denim (even in the wide style).
Wide version found here.
This isn’t a style that Charlotte would have worn much before we started walking and exploring as much as we do now. Yet she likes the decoration and the fact that they feel comfortable. For those of you who like a summer style that is more open, yet has your toes covered, then this is for you.
As for other Jambu comfy shoes for wide feet, they have more than just this pair. Just go to Jambu, and click under the Women’s tab, and then under the Feature: Wide Widths to find more.
And just like my sneakers that I showcased, these also have received the American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) Seal of Acceptance for promoting good foot health. They are also vegan if that’s important to you.
Insider story: My mom was sent an 8.5 accidentally instead of the 7.5 size. And we were concerned because the 8.5 was bigger but not super bigger. Yet when she got the 7.5 shoes, they did fit wonderfully. So I would say they run true to size.
This is a sponsored post with Jambu. That means the company gifted us the footwear and paid me to write the post.
