Fur for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Casual Version
Quote of the day: “Plan to be better today, but don’t ever plan to be finished.” Carol Ann Tomlinson
Since the weather (for some of us) is now chilly, fur or faux can be a welcome addition to our outfits. You may have a fur coat in your closet, but I also found other items in our closets. This adornment is seen trimmed on my jacket, on Nancy as a vest and on mom as a scarf! They are all fun & versatile items at least in my book—let me know if you agree!! Our age grouped women tend to think of this embellishment as fancy and dressy, but this post shows them styled for a casual day!
50’s Fur (Collared Jacket): My collar is removable, but I really don’t wear it without the fur….to me, the fuzziness adds so much more interest to it!

60’s Fur (Vest): We layered the vest over a lightweight jacket. It may seem like a lot going on, but since the shirt is a tank, we needed the coverage!

70’s Fur (Scarf): Mom and I piled on the bracelets to add some color. We also added bright earrings (which you don’t really see in these pictures but they are similar to these!)
