Holiday Party Outfit for the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s: Semi-dressy
Quote of the day: “To understand the heart and mind of a person, look not at what he has already achieved, but at what he aspires to.” Kahil Gibran
It’s getting to be that time that you have to think about what to wear to that upcoming holiday party! The obvious choice for these events includes sequins, sparkles and bling! I bet there’s already some in the back of your storage area, so get ready to pull it out! See these same basic pieces with other elements in Styling Discussion 1.
50’s Holiday Party Outfit: So if you don’t happen to have a taffeta skirt in your wardrobe, how about a bright colored midi skirt? I matched my skirt with a plain black sweater and sparkly necklace to add more glam!

60’s Holiday Party Outfit: For Nancy’s outfit, we’ll take that same black skirt from the previous post and festivize it with a gold, glittery shirt! The black boots are extremely practical since it’s usually cold in December.

70’s Holiday Party Outfit: That good ole red dress of moms can be topped with a cheery vest and, of course, those practical boots!
