Hosiery for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Casual Version

We were gifted this hosiery from Fiore, but I was not paid to write this post.
Many of us in this day and age, do not think to wear a skirt, let alone hosiery for casual events. But as I always say…I love being a woman with the variety of options of clothing available—and skirts fit this bill! Hose are an added covering which helps with camouflage & warmth depending on your needs. I’ve been known to layer 2 pairs of hose over each other to help me from freezing in the winter months! All three of us are wearing a different variety of pantyhose. The first post in this series concentrated on wearing these same hose for a business day (here).

70’s Hosiery (Tights): I figure that tights are a great cover up when the skirt is on the shorter side. That and a pair of boots are very hip!

Thanks to Fiore for the inspiration and hosiery! Nancy’s take on her sheer hose: she was disappointed that they ran right away (but that is life, eh?) and would consider going up a size than what the chart says.
