Leggings for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: With a Long Cardigan

The long cardigan is also a nice companion to the leggings.  By long cardigan, I’m implying one that covers the tush (and possibly even half the thighs).

I’m not entirely sure why I’m not comfortable having my rear exposed in my leggings, yet it’s okay with my skinny jeans….possibly the pockets make all the difference?  Another way to feel more covered up is to wear tall boots with your leggings!  Either way, it usually ends up being a nice proportion since the leggings are on the tighter side and the cardigan has more volume.
