Lime Green for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: Paired With White
Quote of the day: “Don’t count the day done until you’ve made the day count.” Dr. Thom C. Gibson
By this time in our lives, we should most likely have every color represented in our closet, right? But I find this not the case. We tend to buy the same colors either because that’s what we like, it’s what looks good on us or that’s what’s available when we go shopping. Case in point…I was inspired by my mom’s outfit with her lime green t-shirt and light blue jacket (here) to put together and present this color combination series! However, did I have any lime green in my closet? No…not even a scarf. Crazy, I know. So, bummer for me, I had to go shopping! First in the series, is pairing this lively color with white since white is a fun, summer neutral.
50’s Lime Green: I was actually on the hunt for a lime green scarf originally, but I found this shirt and loved it. I had to take it in under the armholes, but other than that, it was perfect!

60’s Lime Green: Nancy bought these pants on her river cruise (more about that next week)! They are a perfect backdrop for this colorful shirt.
70’s Lime Green: Mom had an abundance of this color in her closet. I tried accessorizing the outfit with some browns and even her leopard sandals. Do you like it?
Smile…It’s a fabulous day! Do you have any lime green in your closet?
