Pairing our Lime Green with a Print
Quote of the day: “I don’t have much fear of getting older, but I do dread that someday a wicked genie will make me go back and live my 20s all over again.” Elizabeth Gilbert
For the last post in the lime green series, I thought I’d pair these same lime green shirts with some kind of print. As I was looking, I did notice that there seems to be quite a few prints that have this shade of green in them—maybe not the predominant color, but as a small token.
The lime green can be used to tie together the colors in the print or to act as a contrast to the colors in the print item. I tried to show it with three different kinds of prints. The earlier ones in the series showed lime green with white, and blue.
Jodie’s (50+) Outfit: After my bestie’s funeral, it was truly an honor to be given this necklace by her mother…thanks Pam. It means a lot to me.
Nancy’s (60+) Outfit: Nancy just bought this bracelet in Miltenberg, Germany at a glass blower’s shop. Isn’t it stunning?

Charlotte’s (70+) Outfit: A black & white blouse worn as a jacket is a great way to show off the lime green but in limited amounts.
