Little Black Dress Fall for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: Casual Wear
Quote of the day: “True happiness…arises, in the first place, from the enjoyment of one’s self, and, in the next, from friendship and conversation of a few selection companions.” Joseph Addison
I realize most of us do not grab a dress when we think about getting clothes onto our bodies for a hang out/casual day. But since the little black dress is proclaimed as a “must have” for every woman, then I figured it might as well be versatile. For the three of us and this category, I put us all in flats and layered a top, blouse or jacket over the LBD. We wore these same LBD’s in the summer for a casual day (here) and for a autumn work day (here).
50’s LBD: To make this seem more casual, I threw on a t-shirt over the dress before putting on the cardigan.
