Long Vest for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Dressy Version
Quote of the day: “If anything is certain, it is that change is certain. The world we are planning for today will not exist in this form tomorrow.” Philip Crosby
Continuing with our theme of long vests, I plugged in the usual equation of styling it for our familiar categories. You can see how I paired it with more casual items, here. This post will be the more formal one. For some reason I tend to think of dressier occasions as times I’d wear a skirt or dress; however, I do realize this is not in the cards for every woman. Thus I had Nancy wear some black pants for her pictures. I had mom wear the dress this time, and I picked a skirt—lots of variety for all!
50’s Long Vest: This belt is such a piece of art in my opinion. There is a necklace that matches, but wearing it at the same time would have been too much, right?

60’s Long Vest: I vacillated whether or not to throw in some color with a necklace & earrings, but decided to go with all neutrals.
