Amuse Bouche (ˈä-ˌmüz-ˈbüsh): literally translated into “mouth amuser”. Wikipedia definition: a single, bite-sized hors d’oeuvre.
Jodie’s use of the term: a small hint or clever tip! (Think Hints from Heloise!!)
I’m a true believer in recycling items for different uses!! Just the other day I said to myself, “I need some hooks so I can hang up my purses that get used the most.” So instead of going to the store, I rummaged around in the basement and this is what I found:
It’s a candle wall sconce from Partylite that I purchased many years ago!
The candle holders are actually “C” shaped, which when turned horizontally made perfect hooks for hanging my purses . This sconce would have worked even if the candle holders were complete circles, I still could have hung the straps over the candle holders . Of course as my husband already knows, these are not all of my purses. The smaller clutches and assorted others are in my closet like this:
I used a desk organizer that was left over from the dental office days and I have it sitting on top of a grid stacking shelf.
Here are some other ideas I found online for ways to organize your purse (but I would check around the house first, you may have something that would work perfectly—disguised as something totally different):
Amazon (here) –about $10 and hangs over your door
A coat rack would make a perfect purse hanging. Amazon (here)—about $15.
Thanks for reading…stay tuned for leggings this week on the blog!
