Must Have Sneakers for Spring – Professional Opinion as a Fashionista

I have found the best must have sneakers for spring for you. Granted it’s only my opinion, but as a professional fashionista, that’s quite an opinion! LOL.
When I say “must have,” I say this because I feel like we have shown how sneakers can be styled with anything these days. From skirts, to cropped pants to anything in between!!! We want something that feels good on our feet as well as looks chic!

Quote of the day: “It is not enough to be industrious; so are the ants. What are you industrious about?” Henry David Thoreau

If you ask me the above question, I would say that I’m industrious about the fact it’s never too late to look great. Along with that is the idea that looking great doesn’t have to be uncomfortable. Which is why I continue to work with Jambu footwear to help promote their new selections.
More information about this Jambu collaboration at the end of the post.

How did I style these “must have” sneakers for spring?? With floral and more pink, along with a couple of secrets and failures!! Read on to find out more.
And these aren’t the only Jambu shoes we tried out. See Charlotte’s Mary Janes that come in wide width too, and Lesley’s colorful sandals.

What makes an outfit have a spring vibe? Most fashionistas will tell you that floral is a huge component. You see flowers starting to bloom outside, so why not wear them on us?

Therefore, I pulled out this pair of floral pants from over 8 years ago. I’ve always loved them because of the colors and they aren’t “too” floral (this was back in the day when I didn’t want to be too girly).

Pairing these pants with pink is one way to push yourself out of always matching. Not that it’s bad to match, but trying different color combinations is one of the best and easiest ways to get more variety from your closet.

Secret and Failure

As I promised above, there is a secret to this outfit. I wanted a white long sleeve top to wear with this outfit, but couldn’t find a plain one. (Shocking, I realize, but part of my problem is I always buy the fun pieces. Therefore neglecting the basics)
So I wore one of my white cardigans backwards (see below). Yes, I unbuttoned the middle buttons on purpose and even the lowest one so it wouldn’t pull as much. When it’s under the cardigan, no one knows.

Insider tip: This trick has been used before on the blog here. We have used necklaces, scarves and brooches to change the focus so you may not realize it comes up so high on your neck.

The failure?? I wanted to layer my necklaces like Lesley has done so many times in the past. I admit that I need more practice to excel at this technique, but I will continue to try.

Denim Jacket

Denim jackets are such a classic jacket to throw over anything and everything. Sure, you probably have one in blue denim, but why not other colors too?
In fact, Mireille recently showcased a yellow denim jacket that really caught my eye.

But why not other fun colors too like pink, lilac or even print??
BTW, I bought this one secondhand. Even though it’s a fast fashion brand (and many gurus say you shouldn’t thrift fast fashion), I buy things I like. It doesn’t make a difference about the brand name on the label.

Jambu’s Sneakers for Spring

These Jambu sneakers for spring are called “Lilac” even though they are not purple in color. They do come in charcoal and white too. It’s the shimmer that made me so excited to showcase these, and they also have that flatform appearance!!

I have to admit, that I think these are some of my favorite Jambu shoes I’ve ever had from the company. While all of their shoes are made for comfort, these hit the stylish marks too. If you’ve been reading my Weekly Wrap up posts on Saturday, then you’ll know how much I grab these!
Maybe it’s the fact that the color is almost a nude for my complexion so they seem to work great with most colors.

One of the big aspects about some of Jambu’s styles lately is they have received the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance for promoting good foot health. And this pair is one of them.

If you are wondering about the sizing. These run true to size!
BTW, I am wearing my no show Sheec socks with them in the Active X, low cut version.

My Goal

Thank you for visiting my space on the internet. I like to showcase how it’s never too late to look great for women of any age, size or working with any budget.
I feel I’m here to help move beyond the fashion rules of yesterday and evolve. Style and clothes are made to give you joy. Not cause us stress because we are worried about what other’s think.

My hope is that you get ideas and inspirations from Charlotte, Lesley and myself. It’s not about copying what we wear, but about using what you already have and updating items along the way.
Most of all it’s getting us to think differently and dare I say, have fun?

Another way to support my blog it’s the idea of giving someone a tip for good service or information without having to buy a product.

And feel free to share wherever you can!! You can do this by saving an image to your Pinterest board or sharing this post on Facebook. Or send this post to your friend, and make sure they sign up for the emails.
