New Year’s Eve for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Glamorous Version
Quote of the day: “True self-discovery begins where your comfort zone ends.” Adam Braun
There are those among you that may love or have to get all gussied up for the special night of celebration. If that’s the case, then make sparkles and shine be abundant on your clothing! I showed the stay at home with friends version (here) and the go out to a fine dining establishment (here).
50’s New Year’s Eve: This dress was another gift from my neighbor, Randy! The cocktail ring was a dental school graduation gift from my dad!
60’s New Year’s Eve: Since many “dressy” dresses are sleeveless, we added this cardigan for an extra layer! It also adds some great color!
70’s New Year’s Eve: Mom made this maxi skirt, but says she would have never paired it with the blue turtleneck. I think it looks fabulous on her!
