Outstanding Knee High Boots for Fall for Comfort and Style

Charlotte is showcasing her outstanding knee high boots for fall. For any fashionista fall means boots and sweaters.

Quote of the day: “Age is not the enemy. Stagnation is the enemy. Complacency is the enemy. Stasis is the enemy.” Twyla Tharp

Oh, how I love this quote. Age is truly just a number. Even if our body looks and feels different, our mind is still young. And that means we need to keep it fresh with exploring new ideas and styles.
In saying that, the style of knee high boots for fall is not extremely new. Yet, finding boots that feel as good as they look hasn’t always been easy.

That’s why it’s always a pleasure to work with Jambu to showcase their fall offerings. I’ve included the details of what that means below, but as always it includes a discount code. JSTYLE20 gives you 20% off your purchase through November 13, 2020!
And make sure to see the version of boots that Lesley chose and styled. And then a way to wear lighter boots for winter.

The brown of the boots are a fabulous neutral that will pair with everything. Charlotte matched these boots to her leopard skirt and kept the rest of the outfit very light.
At first my mom wanted to wear tights with the outfit. She would rather cover up her legs than have them exposed. However, having bare knees is a much more modern look especially when it’s still VERY warm outside.

Neutrals

Leopard Skirt

Animal prints are still quite popular among every age group. I feel like it’s not always the print of something that makes it stylish, but also the cut and silhouette.
Since my mom bought this skirt on a recent Goodwill outing, it’s obviously not brand new. Yet I don’t think you could tell. It still looks great especially with the knee high boots for fall.

Insider tip: If you find a skirt that is a tad too short, you can always take out the hem stitching and lengthen it. That’s what my mom did with this skirt. Even if there isn’t much extra material in the hem, you can use seam binding to give you maximum material.

Keeping Things Neutral

Since we realize that most animal prints are a combination of neutral colors, then any other color should work with them.
With this outfit, Charlotte is keeping everything in the brown and tan scheme.

Jambu’s Knee High Boots for Fall

Charlotte chose these Chai boots in Tobacco. They also come in black and whiskey (you can see the color whiskey with Lesley’s booties). It’s nice because all of the colors of these boots are available in a wide calf version also.

My mom of course commented on how comfortable these boots are for both walking around and just putting them on. There is a long zipper which helps with getting them on and off. And she really liked the smooth lining on the inside so they slide on easier.
These Chai boots are water resistant, and I really appreciate having it stamped on the boot so you remember that fact. It’s one thing to see it on the label when you buy them, but once that label is off, chances are I will forget otherwise.

Even though the site does not recommend sizing up for these boots, like they did for Lesley’s, Charlotte did go with a half size bigger than normal to have room for her socks or tights.
The specifics in case you’re interested is the heel height is just over 2 inches tall. The calf width 14.4 inches and the wide calf is 15.7 inches.
