Every season Pantone decides on the “it” color of the season, and while we discussed some of the minor colors of spring already, the one new color is called Peach Fuzz.
Don’t let the name confuse you. It’s a light orange color that could go by many names.
With this in mind, I wanted to help you figure out what to wear with peach clothing.
Quote of the day: “If you do nothing unexpected, nothing unexpected happens.” Foy Weldon
If you are someone who believes those stylists who say you should only purchase clothing in a certain color set, then I believe you are missing out on fun and interesting color combinations. Or like this quote, an unexpected pairing.
Sure, if you don’t have any peach already in your closet, you may think it would be hard to figure out what to wear with peach clothing.
BUT WAIT—Jodie to the rescue. I have a color recipe that works wonders with any new color in your wardrobe.

3 Overall Options of What to Wear with Peach Clothing
I broke it down this way to help you figure out what to wear with peach clothing:
1-Neutrals
2-Muted colors
3-Bright colors
I love the challenge of combining colors as it’s one of my superpowers. Too often we get into ruts about pairing a color with another certain color. Yet it’s easy to try new color combinations with the clothes already in your closet.
I’ve discussed this many times before if you need more inspiration.
Valerie: Wearing Neutrals with Peach Clothing
Valerie admitted to me that she did a lot of overthinking about what to wear with peach clothing.
And when that happens, it’s good to fall back on neutrals.
Sure you can add a pop of color with your accessories, but using neutrals will make the peach clothing an easy addition.
That’s why Valerie wore this white midi skirt and grey ruffle blouse with the peach vest.
For those who haven’t embraced these flowy skirts, summer is the best time to give them a go. Here in Arizona, they are considered essential because they are cooler than pants, shorts, and capris, and they look fabulous.
I love how Valerie added color with her scarf and purse.
And for those of you who don’t like the color peach near your face, sneakers are a great option.
Charlotte-Styling Peach Accessories with a Muted Color Outfit
Peach is a color that is wonderful for my mom’s porcelain skin. Yet she doesn’t have much of it in the way of clothing in her closet.
Instead, we found a scarf and purse and used those pieces to give you ideas of how you could combine peach with muted colors.
Insider detail: Did you see that my mom made the scarf from leftover fabric? She’s a master at taking scraps of fabric and using them in various ways.
Charlotte always loves a monochromatic outfit, so she put together these olive green capris with this muted sage color t-shirt.
Wearing the scarf this way makes it a necklace and then you don’t have the need to figure out how to tie it.
Insider tip: These scarf pendants can be purchased however, don’t forget to check any pendants you have on existing necklaces. If they have a large opening, they could be repurposed to wear in this fashion.
I love how Charlotte combined the color peach (the purse and scarf) along with pink (her shoes and earrings). Both colors play well together since they are lighter shades of warm colors.
Jodie: Wearing Brights with Peach Clothing
As someone who loves a good contrast between colors, I opted for brights as what to wear with peach clothing.
I wore a blue hand-knit tank top and layered a sheer cardigan shrug over it.
Insider detail: This shrug is one that I’ve seen at boutiques for twice as much money. They come in a huge variety of colors and are perfect for the chill from the AC in the summer.
I’ve worn this hand-knit tank top years ago with black shorts. The length of it works well with the wide-leg jeans (which are still available even in petite).
Not only are the wide-leg jeans a modern silhouette of pants at the moment, but they are also cooler in the hot weather.
Insider detail: At first I wasn’t even going to try on this hat because of the black brim. I know that black isn’t a good color near my face, but imagine my surprise when the interior of the brim was light blue. A good reason to try the things on instead of dismissing them.
Isn’t this straw purse incredible? It used to be my bestie’s mom’s purse and was passed down to me last year.
