Polka Dots for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: The Casual Interpretation
Quote of the Day: ” Surround yourself with good people. You’ll turn out just like them.” @BREECOUCH_ from Twitter
Polka dots are a fun print that look great on anybody! Since they come in every color and variation, the job of matching it up with a variety of items in our closets is relatively easy. For our casual day post, I pulled out our jeans (of course). You can see these same shirts shown as part of a dress up outfit (here).

50’s Polka Dot Blouse: Mom just finished making me this fur trimmed bolero vest, so I had to show it off. The necklace is the type that you can mold into any shape or design. I love the concept but I feel like I have trouble with the execution. Does anyone else have one of these type of necklaces?

60’s Polka Dot Blouse: Since Nancy’s blouse is black & white, the bright colored cardigan adds a punch of color! And don’t you just love these shoes…thanks Target!!

70’s Polka Dot Blouse: For this casual version, I had mom knot the ties of the blouse in an offhand manner. She loves making these flower pins as accessories (and has a boatload of them) for jackets—I told you she was like Martha Stewart!
