Print Top for Travel Wear 2 (For Exploring)

Travel Wear-Print Top

Print Top for Travel Wear for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: Exploring Attire

Quote of the day: “If you do a good job for others, you heal yourself at the same time, because a dose of joy is a spiritual cure.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer

I’m taking that same print top, that was styled for dinner (here), and wearing it for a day of exploring. Anytime you’re going out to search and discover new places, it’s good to have comfortable walking shoes, some kind of cover up for cold places and a bag to carry water (and lipstick!)  It’s also great to look presentable instead of just schlepping around in jeans & a t-shirt.

50’s Print Top: Since the blouse is so lightweight, I find it perfect for keeping the sun off my arms yet it’s not too hot.

Top: Da Nang (similar here)~~Shorts: Ann Taylor (here)~~T-Shirt Under: Mossimo (similar here)~~Shoes: Chinese Laundry (similar here)~~Necklace: (similar here)~~Earrings: (similar here)

70’s Print Top: Mom’s blouse was also great as a cover-up. I especially like this blouse because it has button tabs on the sleeves to keep the sleeves rolled up at elbow length.

Top: Alfani (similar here)~~Pants: XOXO (similar here)~~T-Shirt Under: (similar here)~~Shoes: Champions (similar here)~~Necklace: (similar here)~~Earrings: (similar here)~~Bracelet: (similar here)

Bon Voyage and lots of smiles!!

Here’s some sleeveless printed tops:

  • Great travel wear all around, and the jewelry closeups are lovely. Outstanding hat Jodie! Thank you so much for sharing with Hat Attack!

    • Thank you Judith!! I need to start wearing more hats…they are perfect for those unruly hair days!!!

  • Your post was right up my alley. I love to travel and try hard to make an effort dressing for it. In a way, we are ambassadors when we venture out into the world and by dressing well (and yes, comfortably) we represent the people back home.

    • That’s exactly how I feel….we need to look our best (all the time!!) Thanks Marea!

  • I liked the 50’s and 60’s tops. The 70’s top was a bolder pattern, for your sweet faced model, than I likely would have chosen for her, but hey, she ‘rocked it’, and being confident in what you wear is half the battle, Who knows, when we’re in our 70’s, that may be EXACTLY the choice we all make. 🙂 #MidLifeLuv

    • Ahhh….you only think she’s sweet by the pictures, but she’s tiger way down deep!!! (Actually she’s a stubborn German woman—ha ha). Thanks for such a thoughtful comment Paula!!

  • Great looks! Love Nancy’s colorful top especially! Thanks so much for being a part of Fun Fashion Friday!

  • Love all three looks. That tee shirt is a great color on you!

  • MaryAnne

Well aren’t you ladies looking lovely!!! 🙂 Your tops are very colorful and fun.
