The Pucci Print Shirt Goes Out on the Town

Quote of the Day: “Nobody looks crazy when they’re having fun.” Amy Piehler

Going out on the town is my way of saying we are getting dressed up! And this Pucci print blouse is perfect for a fancier occasion since it’s silky and colorful!

Okay…referring to the quote above, the three of us may all look crazy wearing the same shirt, but hey, what’s life without a little craziness?  Today we’ll take the same shirt I featured in my last two blogs out for a spin. I’m going for a more dressy moment.  You can see this exact shirt styled for a work day (here) or a casual day (here).

Jodie’s (50’s) Outfit: You may not think of shorts as dressy, but with the heels, I thought I could get away with it.

I left the ties of the blouse hanging down and kept my accessories simple for a change!!

Nancy (60’s) Outfit: Even though there isn’t any black in the shirt, I like it with the black skirt & heels!

I think the black works because there is navy in the pattern. I mean how many times have you questioned whether the color was navy or black?

A rhinestone necklace adds some relevant sparkliness!

Charlotte (70’s) Outfit: I had mom wear a belt over the waistband of her skirt.

I learned this trick from Tara’s blog Mix & Match Fashion and I think it adds a touch of pizzazz! And the nice thing is you don’t have to unbuckle it every time you go to the bathroom!

Making the same shirt work for your wardrobe for many different occasions, is the fun part of clothes and style!! And as you can see, the 3 of us are ready for a night on the town!!

I sincerely appreciate your time in reading my styling blog!

The Facts

Even if you wouldn’t consider purchasing your clothing online, it can be helpful to look through my links to see what is available! It certainly doesn’t hurt my feelings, if you click on them but don’t like them. Just so you know, one of the ways I make money from this blog is through these linked items.

What this means is that when you click on a linked item, I receive a couple of cents. Those couple of cents can certainly add up! So I appreciate it if you keep clicking to help support Jodie’s Touch of Style!
