How your Red Sandals Can Add a Pop of Color

How your Red Sandals Can Add a Pop of Color

Quote of the day: “Opportunities are seldom labeled.” Buz Moxon

To me, sandals are the epitome of summer and warmer days!  Who doesn’t love showing off their tootsies?  (Actually I do know a couple women who shy away from sandals because they don’t like their toes, but I think that’s silly).  One of my favorite pair of sandals are Nancy’s red ones pictured in this post.  I think a red sandal is such a versatile shoe and hopefully I can prove it to you with my pairings (sounds like wine…hmmm also red & wonderful).

The first in this series shows how I’ve paired the red sandals with darker neutrals.  Most of us would usually reach for a black sandal, but I really like the interest that a red sandal gives the outfits.

50’s Red Sandals: This dress had been a staple of mine for so many years.  It’s from La Redoute and I was heartbroken when they stopped shipping to the U.S.A.

60’s Red Sandals: So these sandals were purchased at Target and I drool over them every time I see them (you’ll see a better view in the next post).  I would have bought a pair too, but I actually showed restraint.

    • Thanks Lauren! Be sure to check out the DAM’s gift shop….they have some cute stuff!!!

  • I love the look of a red sandal with these outfits, so pretty!

  • Love all the outfits with the red sandals. Especially loving the asymmetrical hem of the leopard print top! I have pink sandals and coral sandals but not red and I’ve been so wanting a pair this season but sadly not found any I’ve liked or the ones I’ve liked they’ve sold out in my tiny size! Typical

    • But pink and coral are kinda the same—although I was just thinking I needed some orange sandals! I just love shoes!!!

  • I really like the sandals you have pictured from 6pm. And you did a great job adding this red as a pop of color. So fun! You look beautiful in these pictures.

  • MaryAnne

The pop of color looks wonderful! Sandals are great for showing off the pedicure! Since I don’t have a pair of red shoes, now I’m on the hunt for red sandals.

    • How cute MaryAnne!! I must admit the red sandals are one of my favorite ways to add color!!
