Wearing boots can be purely for function too. They keep you warmer since they cover your calf, duh! If we’re wearing the boots as an effort to keep warmer, try putting on a pair of hosiery and 2 pairs of socks under the jeans! Of course it’s perfectly acceptable to wear your boots under your jeans….thus the reason that there are boot cut jeans, eh?

50’s Riding Boots: When I shop at Kohl’s, I always check out the Vera Wang section because she designs the most interesting clothes. This t-shirt is one of them and I love it because there’s no need for a necklace due to its embellishments! The boots make it a useful running errands in the snow and slush kind of outfit!

70’s Riding Boots: This blazer I actually bought at Never Pay Retail in Denver. I had mom shorten the sleeves, and then decided it looked better on her instead of me! It’s good to give!! This necklace adds some artsiness to this look since it is such a unique piece of jewelry. And the navy boots tie in with the darker jacket.
