Wearing Your Scarf as a Bathing Suit Cover Up

Quote of the day: “Happiness is a product of attitude and thought.  It comes from you, not to you.” Richard Daly

Adding a large scarf for travelling also can fill the need for a bathing suit cover-up. Unfold it and then tie the ends around your waist for a long skirt.  If your scarf is large enough, I’ve even seen this done wrapped around your neck with one arm through and then the other ends tied near your legs—not as flattering, but it works!

Needless to say, we decided to wear a t-shirt over our bathing suit for this post! This is one time an infinity scarf wouldn’t work for this objective.  A wool one would be a little strange also–ha ha!  We all wore our same scarf for the airplane ride (here).

50’s Travel Wear Scarf: A hat is another “must have” on any sunny/beachy/tropical trip for me.  My skin does not know the definition of the word “tan.”

60’s Scarf: Nancy said she probably wouldn’t ever wear earrings to go to the baths in Budapest, but I decided we needed a little bling for the pictures!

Taking your scarf with you for travelling is smart since they can be so versatile. The large ones may seem like a lot of fabric, but how perfect to use them as a bathing suit cover up also! How else do you wear yours?

Travel fun for all!!
