I’m updating my recommendations for the Sephora Spring sale 2024 to focus on clean beauty options. Even if your discount is not huge, the advantage is if you use a lot of different brands of items, you can save money all at once.

Here’s how I look at it. Sure, sometimes a brand has a fabulous sale that could even be better than the Sephora sale, yet the other factor is adding in any shipping costs. So when you have more items that you are ordering, your shipping charge is less per item.
And when you like various brands, shopping this way is more convenient. It only took me 50 years to figure this out, haha.
The caveat to this sale is that you have to sign up to be a Sephora Insider member. But since that is free, it’s easy to do. Just sign up here and you even get rewards to use in your birthday month.

What Exactly Is Clean Beauty?
I spoke about how I’ve been changing my beauty routine to be more minimalistic and part of that is focused on changing to products that don’t have toxins in them.
Unfortunately the definition of clean beauty can differ from person to person. In all reality, learning about which chemicals are bad for our overall health is the only way to go.
It can seem incredibly overwhelming, but the best thing is to start off with the next skincare/beauty product you buy. Make sure that at least it’s marketed as “clean”. Then over time when you start learning what constitutes “clean”, you can figure out the best items for you.
For example, Sephora has a page focused on Clean Beauty, and at the bottom of the page, it tells their qualifiers.
Insider tip: Even though it’s labeled as clean, I still think it’s important to look at the ingredients if you have time. There were a couple of items that I checked that I didn’t agree with.

Clean Fragrances
Now that I’ve discovered non-toxic fragrances it’s nice to be able to change up my scent from day to day. I was impressed that I found quite a few clean fragrances for my Sephora Spring sale 2024 recommendations.
Fragrances are one thing that can be filled with ingredients that don’t have to be listed and thus you don’t realize are not good for our overall health.
That’s why it’s good to start with ones that are classified as clean.
Clean Serums
One thing I’m not using at the moment is eye creams.
I figure that with the right serums and moisturizers, it’s a product that I don’t need.
That’s why I wanted to share clean serums and clean moisturizers (below) as part of the Sephora Spring Sale for 2024.
Moisturize with Clean Ingredients
Moisturizer is the step that comes after applying my serums.
Skin that is hydrated is healthy and radiant skin, so this is a step not to be skipped.
Sephora Spring Sale 2024 Recommendations For CC Creams
In order to try to minimize the steps I’ve been using for my makeup, I have now embraced CC Creams.
CC cream has a tint so it’s “color correcting”. It’s considered a light tint and not heavy foundation, which I prefer at this stage of the game.
What Not To Purchase at Sephora Spring Sale 2024
I was disappointed at the selection and prices of the facial devices offered on Sephora’s site.
As I shared in my minimalistic approach to skincare, these products have become more mainstream and are well liked by aestheticians.
In fact, having devices that you can use at home for better skin, limits the amount of products you need.

Can I Return Things from Sephora?
I know I was surprised that makeup and beauty products could be returned, but it makes buying new things less risky.
This is Sephora’s wording on their site: “If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase or gift for any reason, Sephora welcomes you to return new or gently used products for a full refund to your original method of payment if returned within 30 days of purchase, in most cases. Returns that are made from 31-60 days after purchase are eligible for online credit (if returned to us by mail) or store credit (if returned in-store). In order to complete the return, you must have a proof of purchase.”
