Spring Weddings for the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s: A Daytime Event
Quote of the day: “Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency.” Maya Angelou
Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like spring weddings are one of the hardest events to plan what outfit to wear. Possibly it’s because of my geographical location? But in my head when I think of a spring wedding, I want to pull out all my lightweight and colorful clothing. However, there is usually still a chill in the air and sometimes even snow to contend with! This week on the blog, I will concentrate on this festive occasion with three different scenarios. For my first post of the week, I had the afternoon (or somewhat more casual) time in mind. Of course, I added layers to all three of our outfits to help with keeping us warm!
50’s Outfit: Of course I wanted to add some bright color to my outfit—thus, hello yellow!!
Skirt:Coverii (similar here)~~Cardigan: Gilli (similar here)~~T-Shirt: LOFT(similar here)~~Shoes: Aldo (similar here)~~Necklace: (similar here)~~Earrings: (similar here)~~Bracelet: (similar here)~~Purse: MM Faille (similar here)
60’s Outfit: Nancy’s bird nest necklace I hoped could be the perfect indication of springtime! Isn’t it darling? She made it for a church project.
70’s Outfit: A lightweight turtleneck can eliminate the need for a cardigan or jacket. Especially since you can add a couple layers underneath!

And who couldn’t use a new purse (for under $20) to take to this event? (There will be more on my Facebook page on Wednesday)
