What to Wear to a Summer Daytime Wedding
Quote of the day: “If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you find an excuse.” Jim Rohn
The summer wedding is a popular event no matter what your age. Yet even as we get older, we still we worry about what we should wear. The daytime wedding tends to be a more casual event, so a dress or separates work well.
The rules seem to be changing every year, but one thing is certain, is to wear a nice dress and you’ll look fine! You can check the previous post to see us dolled up for an outdoor summer wedding.
50’s Summer Wedding: I actually purchased this dress specifically for a wedding about 5 years ago. I try to wear it for other occasions to make it more versatile, but I might as well get use out of it if I’m going to a wedding.
60’s Summer Wedding: I love Nancy’s floral flats and thought they’d be appropriate since this post is all about a daytime affair. The cardigan is very light and just in case the air-conditioning is too cold!
70’s Summer Wedding: I love this color combination as it looks so light and airy to me! Besides the colors look great with mom’s complexion!
Thanks for the love and support!
Even if you wouldn’t consider purchasing your clothing online, it can be helpful to look through my links to see what is available! It certainly doesn’t hurt my feelings, if you click on them but don’t like them. Just so you know, one of the ways I make money from this blog is through these linked items.
