The Perfect Winter Scarf Looks to Keep You Snuggly at a Bargain

Staying warm with your winter scarf look isn’t hard when you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on the items.

Quote of the day: “Surround yourself with people who are going to motivate and inspire you.” Charles M. Marcus

This is another sponsored post with Bellelily, this time we are focusing on winter scarf looks and wonderful wool scarves. The information about the company and these products are at the bottom of this post.
The reason I chose the quote today is because many of us would never think to shop at some of these online sites. Heck, most of us have never heard of them. Yet exploring and trying new companies AND new styles is something I love to do. Hopefully it inspires you too.

We also showcased graphic tees from this same company, and you don’t want to miss those, along with layering pieces in a different post.

Winter scarf looks

As a quick commentary, Bellelily has 16 versions of these winter scarves available all for under $20. I couldn’t think of a better gift to have for those times you need a gift on the fly. One of the reasons it would make the perfect gift for friends who still suffer with cold winters or frosty falls, is that it comes with a nice gift card and gift bag.

Striped Pashmina

Charlotte chose this striped pashmina to showcase with her outfit. This is a wonderful way to add some pizzazz to a solid color top like my mom has shown here.

Her comment is very close to my thoughts in that she was delighted with it. The softness and quality were really so admirable for this price. She did lament that she probably won’t have that many occasions to wear it here in the desert unless we have another cold winter like last winter.

Tan Tartan Scarf

This tan tartan lambswool scarf was my scarf of choice from Bellelily. While the title of my scarf does say lambswool, it’s not listed in the description which is the same for all the scarves on their site.
That’s exactly why having us review these pieces like this is SO beneficial. Who would realize that these winter scarves were something that anyone would love? Trust me, I’ve paid a lot more for name brand scarves that aren’t as soft as these.

I wore my tan tartan scarf with my tan moto jacket and leopard booties. It’s like they were made to be together.

Tartan Plaid

Lesley chose this red tartan plaid scarf. As someone who has quite a bit of red in her wardrobe, she knew it would be easy to style for our winter scarf looks. And doesn’t it look perfect with a denim jacket?

Her review echos what Charlotte and I have said in that the scarf was a pleasant surprise. First it was 100% wool and was a very soft lux feel. (You know how some wools can be very scratchy. This one is NOT).
It is a nice weight and a great length to work with in many different ways. In fact, she said it was top quality all around at an unbelievable price point.

Insider tip: Lesley shows how a pin can keep your scarf from moving around when you have it in place. If you pin it far enough away, you can easily slip it off your head when it’s time to take it off, and then ready again when you put it back on.

Winter Scarf Looks with Bellelily

This is a sponsored post with Bellelily meaning the company sent us these scarves and I was paid to write this post. I always appreciate it when small companies support my blog, and they appreciate your support in return. It’s truly a win/win for everyone.

The best part of working with these companies is being able to offer you a discount code.
Use JTSS15 for 15% off your order of $69
or JTSS10 for 10% off your order over $19.
Both of these offers end December 31, 2020 and products are available worldwide.

Personally, I am approached by many companies throughout the year, and am very picky about the ones I work with. I’m always looking for products that fit into our niche and ones I think would be interesting and DIFFERENT (see the quote above) for my readers. I know you already shop at many of the “popular” retail sites, so why not try other ones?
Many times we look at these sites and think the quality isn’t going to be good. Yet after my research and survey about “Does the Cost of Clothing Reflect Quality” and our experience with inexpensive swimsuits, I think it’s good to be more open to some of these sites.

At first glance this company obviously markets to young women. Which is one reason I wanted to work with them. I wanted to prove that if you saw these pieces on women your own age, you might be more prone to try them.
While I was researching this company, there were many reviews good and bad about Bellelily. This fact made me very curious to see how it would be for us. The opinions above are our honest thoughts.

My Goal

Thank you for visiting my space on the internet. I like to showcase how it’s never too late to look great for women of any age, size or working with any budget.
I feel I’m here to help move beyond the fashion rules of yesterday and evolve. Style and clothes are made to give you joy. Not cause us stress because we are worried about what other’s think.

My hope is that you get ideas and inspirations from Charlotte, Lesley and myself. It’s not about copying what we wear, but about using what you already have and updating items along the way.
Most of all it’s getting us to think differently and dare I say, have fun?
