Fashion for 3 Generations of Women

Why You Should Have Many Dresses in your Closet

Even though our society has become more casual, I feel it’s still a fabulous idea to have a variety of different dresses in your wardrobe. I think a dress is so much easier to style because you have the upper & lower portion of your clothing already picked out! Sure, you still have to put on a pair of shoes, and sometimes a jacket, but it’s still one and done! And considering all the different events many of us end up attending each summer, that’s exactly why you should have a variety of dresses in your closet!

That’s why I’m still enamored with the online site who we’ve worked with before called VIPme. They have so many different dresses to choose from, and they are all flash sales, thus they are so affordable. Now I know many of you don’t shop online, but I’ll help you with suggestions with these picks, so to make it a little easier for you! There is a discount code Jodie560 for $5 off an order of $50 for my readers!

Jodie’s (50’s) VIPme Outfit: You may have noticed that blush is the color of the season. So when I saw this bodycon dress, I thought it’s time to step outside my box.

I’ve never entertained the thought that I should wear a tight dress since I was brought up very modestly. However, I felt like the ruching on this dress would make it feel more comfortable to me. It’s also not too short and it has nice coverage over my bra straps.

Style for Women over 50 with online shopping

I added my silver sneakers to this look because we were on the way to Target for some errands, and I wanted to be comfortable.

The three of us all styled sneakers with skirts the other day, here. The post was definitely popular among those who can’t wear heels anymore, so I figured it’d be fun to keep trying this trend.

Leather Jacket & dress with sneakers is stylish for any age

So let me give you a little information about this dress.

It’s very hard to see in my photos, but there is a sparkle in the dress material. You can see it better on VIPme’s site if you put your mouse over the image for a close up! The sparkle may make you think that this dress is only for fancy occasions, but I really wanted to show that it could be made casual with a leather jacket over it and the sneakers!

For my sizing, I decided to go up a size so it wouldn’t be quite so tight. And I think it’s perfect. I’ve really learned to go by their size guide and also evaluate the material of the piece. Since this piece is stretchy, I knew there would be some give, but I didn’t want it like a second skin!

Nancy’s (60’s) VIPme Outfit: I chose this bright green dress for Nancy for a few reasons.

I think this color is perfect for the spring and summer and it’s fabulously bright against her grey hair! The other reason is that Nancy doesn’t have anything like it already in her closet!

Fashion & Style with online shopping reviews

It’s the details that give it so much interest! There is a ruffle sleeve on the right side only, and then the hi-low hem.

I did consider that if Nancy didn’t like the hi-low hem, or in the case when it becomes out of style, that I could change it to an even hemline.

And then being a solid colored dress, it’s a perfect canvas for any statement necklace or even a scarf! That’s also why we paired her floral heels with the dress! But her nude or rose gold heels would have looked wonderful too!

Fun with Fashion for Women over 60

Didn’t the wind come along at just the right time, and blow out the back hem of Nancy’s dress so nicely?

There’s not a lot to tell you about this dress that you can’t see in the photos. Except that there is a zipper on the side so it’s relatively easy to get in and out of.

I ordered the size Nancy usually gets and it fits great. VIPme doesn’t yet give the lengths of their items on the website, so it certainly looks much shorter on their model. Nancy is 5’0″ and it works good for her. There is a tiny button & elastic on the back of the neck to hold it together which is hard to use because the button is square. Therefore, I switched out the button to a hook for Nancy to be able to close it herself!

Charlotte’s (70’s) VIPme Outfit: I knew this teal color would look fabulous with my mom’s complexion!

And, of course, she wanted to wear either blue or green shoes with it. However, I think adding in the pops of orange with the shoes, purse & earrings adds so much more fun to this look! Just think of the other possibilities that would be fun for the spring or summer. Yellow, blush, bright pink or even coral?

Buying dresses online for women over 70

I truly think this dress would work for so many different occasions.

You could easily add in some flat sandals for a casual brunch, or slide on some heels for a fancier dinner! Just think of how stunning this would look with silver heels!!

Of course I might be partial to this dress because it reminds me of the first one I received from this company about a year ago!

Styling a Summer Dress with fun colored accessories

So let me give you the low down about this particular dress!

I ordered this in the size my mom would normally wear, and it looks fabulous. If you like your dresses a little tighter, I think you could probably size down in this dress . There isn’t any zippers or openings however, so you need to be able to put it on over your head. I tend to err on the side of too big, since it’s much easier to alter an item to make it smaller.

But I think it’s lovely for us older women, The sleeves are sheer, so they are covered but not really! And the sheer top portion is longer over the under solid color portion, which gives it such nice movement and flow. My mom is 5’4″ and the under portion ends right at her knees, which might seem short by itself. However, the sheer portion that is over top really takes all of the attention.

So adding another dress to you closet is what I’d consider a smart idea. Heck, with all of the graduation parties, weddings, and fun events coming up, it’s nice to be prepared! And don’t forget the extra $5 you can save on orders of $50 or more with the code Jodie560. Just so you realize, these dresses from VIPme  are for sale for a limited time. If you love one, it may not be available even just the next week!! But don’t stress because there are usually other fabulous dresses to take it’s place!

  • Carol Cameleon

I’m turning into much more of a dress person lately. And I love that blush pink dress at the start. There are so many gorgeous colours here too. The more colour the better in many ways! #lovinlifelinky

    • Jodie Filogomo

Me too Carol!! In fact, I want to make this summer the summer of dresses!! I really want to wear them most of the time and have fun with them!!
Thanks for stopping by and including your voice!!

  • Cheryl Tucker

I’m excited that Charlotte joined our link up! This is a beautiful post on dresses today! That very last one is totally me! Peace!
    Cheryl Tucker

    • Jodie Filogomo

I swear this site has the neatest dresses!! The hard part is choosing only one!!
      Thanks & happy weekend, Cheryl!!

  • There is noting better than a well fitting dress in the perfect color. You have such a dress, and I also Love your Mom’s teal dress. I do not have many dresses and the few I do have get worn when the occasion presents itself. Enjoy. . .

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks so much Neti!!
I’ve decided that this is going to be the summer of dresses, just to change things up! (At least in real life—not on the blog, ha ha). Because I have some fun dresses, but they don’t get worn as much as they should!!
      Happy Weekend!!

  • Such beautiful dresses all around! You look fabulous in your blush dress and have just the figure for it. I am loving Nancy’s floral shoes with her beautiful green. Charlotte’s teal and floral is lovely. I am a huge fan of dresses and wear them all the time. 🙂

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks so much Jennie!!
I think dresses are going to be my thing for this summer!! They are just so easy and fresh!!
And thanks for including mom & Nancy in your kind comment–I always forward these to them!

      • Oh, that is so sweet. I do try to recognize them in my comments, but realize you are the driving force behind this blog. I will be more mindful in the future, as I realize they are just as much as a part of this wonderful collaboration.

  • Loved all the dresses – and that blue Embroidery Shift Dress in the pics at the end is gorgeous. I’m off to investigate 🙂

    • Jodie Filogomo

Isn’t that blue shift dress just gorgeous? I had many readers be drawn to that one!!
      Thanks Leanne!

  • Totally loving your dress Jodie! And why not show off that enviable figure? I just wish you had added heels! xx

    • Jodie Filogomo

And I will probably wear heels with this dress most of the time (as long as we’re not going to Target…ha ha!)
      Thanks Laurie!!

  • I don’t wear dresses very often so they are probably the one thing my closet is lacking. Love that blush dress on you! So pretty!

    Doused In Pink

    • Jodie Filogomo

I do get into a rut about wearing my jeans all the time–especially when running errands. But then I think, my legs aren’t going to look this good forever—so maybe I should take advantage of this stage in my life??? We’ll see how long it continues!!
Thanks for the love and Happy Mother’s Day, Jill!!

  • Nicole Mölders

There is always space for another dress and a pair of shoes. Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style.

    • Jodie Filogomo

Ha ha, Nicole!! You are a girl after my own heart!
Although I do try to get rid of a pair of shoes when I bring home a new pair…..usually!!!

  • Wow you all made some darn sweet choices on your dresses. Each one is beautiful. And look at you Jodie! Hottie Tottie!

I love that bold floral sheath dress. Very tempting…

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Suzanne!!
And considering I was called a “dog” in 5th grade by my friend’s brother—that “hottie tottie” really made my day!!

  • I do have a good variety of dresses. I like them for exactly the reason you say – much easier than picking out separate parts of an outfit!

    • Jodie Filogomo

It’s nice to hear I’m not the only one that thinks this!!

  • of the VIPme dresses listed at the bottom I have to say the white tunic and two printed dresses are absolutely amazing!

    • Jodie Filogomo

Don’t they just have some gorgeous dresses?? I think every time I look at their site, I want almost all of them!!

  • Terri Webster Schrandt

The dresses are really pretty! I just have a few random drresses now and mostly for hot days. These are great styles, love Nancy’s green dress and features 🙂

    • Jodie Filogomo

I have been trying to wear dresses more and more—even for casual events, Terri!! Sometimes I think it’s just because I’m crazy, but everything is so casual nowadays, that I guess I’m trying to make a stand!!!
Thanks for the love, and I forwarded your comment to Nancy so she can appreciate it too!!

  • This is so true. It is important to invest in a wide range of dress styles because it makes for a more fun dress up!

    Jessica | notjessfashion.com

    • Jodie Filogomo

Exactly!! I’m so glad you get what I’m saying!!
      Thanks Jessica!!

  • sue

I don’t wear dresses often Jodie but I do think they always look elegant. This year I bought two which was surprising for me but I feel ‘dressed up’ when I put them on. Lovely photos as usual you all look beautiful

    • Jodie Filogomo

I think maybe that’s why I actually like the sneakers with them, Sue? Maybe they make them feel more casual and normal??
Although I do like going out to nice restaurants and events—so I’ll wear them with “normal” shoes then!!

  • Sharon Duerst

I wear dresses for special events only – wish I had more events and more dresses! I like some of the ones you’ve shown here and they really are timeless and good for any age!

    • Jodie Filogomo

That’s kinda how I think of dresses, Sharon—for special times!! But I’m trying hard to change that perspective and wear them more!!

  • Laura

I love having a variety of dresses, but ones that can all be styled different ways like the ones you’ve shown! I really like the way you’ve dress down your dress, added the floral heels to Nancy’s and the coral accessories with your Mom’s!

    • Jodie Filogomo

I do think it’s easier to have these dresses already in my closet for when occasions come up—because they always do!! I hate waiting until the last minute to find my outfit for an event!! Call me a crazy planner, I guess!!
      Thanks Laura!!

  • Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom

Is it weird to say that I just LOVE the shoes you paired with each dress? Oh my gosh, so perfect! I also love that blush dress on you, I think sizing up was a great idea. I sort of hate dresses that are tight and would want a little breathe room, too! Nancy’s floral heels are so cute, too! And, I love your mom’s pops of orange in her shoes/accessories.

    • Jodie Filogomo

Weird?? No way, Carrie!! Do you realize that I am a shoe girl!! So that make perfect sense to me—if only everyone saw things that way!!

  • Linda Hobden

You already know how much I love dresses Jodie – this post was so “up my alley” 😜 We do share the same taste in clothing – I have a dress in the similar style to your blush dress but mine is in teal blue – I wear it with teal blue sneakers! 😊

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Birds of a feather, right???

  • All of these dresses are fab! I love VIPme and have several dresses from then. In love with the print on your mom’s dress!

    • Jodie Filogomo

Don’t they just have such wonderful dresses, Kathrine?? Sometimes I think I could wear almost all of them and love them!

  • Your body con dress is really beautiful and suits you perfectly. I also love the hemline on the green dress Nancy is wearing. Gorgeous post again! Thank you for linking up to #ablogginggoodtime 🎉

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks so much Catie!!

  • Nancy, Nancy, Nancy. You’ve done it again. I love her dress!
I have a few extra dresses in my wardrobe now. I don’t wear them a lot but they are there. Waiting patiently. I do love to get “frocked up” every now and then.

    • Jodie Filogomo

It is fun to add a little something special on some evenings!!
Thanks for the wonderful compliment to Nancy—I’ll make sure to forward it to her so it can make her day, Leanne!!

  • So many cute choices, no matter what your age!

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Monica!! 🙂

  • You all look amazing as usual. Jodie, you dress looks amazing on you, and love the casual vibe styled with sneakers.

    xx, Elise

    • Jodie Filogomo

Thanks Elise!! I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this dress a ton!!

  • Judy Gramith

    Talk about temptation!!!!OMG!!!!!
I found TONS of items I loved on the VIP site. I spent over an hour searching for something in my size. So many of the items are only available in up to an 8 at this time of year. I truly LOVED A LOT of the offerings Jodie. I’ve signed up to receive notifications as well.
ALL of you look so DARLING YET again!!
You my dear, look SO svelte and sexy in that curve skimming dress!I think the sneakers tone that down a bit, since you weren’t doing an anniversary dinner with your husband immediately after the photos were taken… (?)
Nancy’scomplexion is lovely in that shade of green and Charlotte’s dress is absolutely perfect and quite youthful for her.
    GREAT POST!!!!!

    • Jodie Filogomo

I know, I know!! Everytime I go to their site—it’s like a kid in the candy store. And some of the prices are fabulous!! Maybe not as good as Zulily, but still!!
I do have some trouble with finding some of the things I like for mom & Nancy in their sizes. But I’ve also had the same thing happen the opposite way too! But since we both like treasure hunting, I figure it’s part of the game!!
And Rob & I did not go to dinner after these photos—we ate before hand because we are those old people that eat at 5 or 6 pm—ha ha!!
Thanks for the wonderful compliments!! Now wait until you see tomorrow’s dresses!!!

    • Charlotte Miller

Thank you Judy for the lovely complements. I even wore the dress to the Symphony Sunday but because of the weather had to wear a jacket over it. Still got remarks about the unusual hem feature.

      • Judy Gramith

I can’t wait to meet you Charlotte!

    • Nancy Nagy

Thank you, Jude, for all of your lovely compliments. Jodie keeps me up on all the latest fashion the best she can!! I have certainly up-ed my game!! My closet is bursting at the seams but that doesn’t seem to stop me!! Love looking the best I can!!

      • Judy Gramith

You look so lovely in this green Nancy. Pink is another color I really like you in but that’s a color that looks good on all of us.
I’m so looking forward to meeting you in Seattle!

  • So true – it’s so nice to have diffrent dresses in your closet! Love this blush one!

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Annessa!!

  • Rebecca Saffer

You all look beautiful in your dress choices. I love dresses but unfortunately don’t wear many except for an occasion. Maybe this summer??

    • Jodie Filogomo

It’s probably getting into a habit about it. Because usually I grab for my jeans first—but then I have to tell myself to switch it up!!
But you certainly stand out more in a dress since most other women don’t wear them!! And that’s a good thing!!
Thanks for the lovely comment, Rebecca!

  • Nicole Mölders

The embroidered shift dress is calling my name.

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Isn’t that one a beauty??
I had picked that one out for Nancy—it would’ve looked great on her too!!

  • You know I’m all about the dresses! All of these are gorgeous!! You can’t never have enough 😉

    • Jodie Filogomo

And that’s one of the things I love about you so much Liz!! I don’t know why, but I think we should get dressed up more often!!

  • OH MY GOODNESS! Each of these dresses are so perfect on you ladies! Wow! And gosh darn it, I just placed an order with VIPMe but missed the dress you are wearing. I love it! And I completely agree, it’s a good idea to have a variety of dresses in your closet. 🙂 Just put on some shoes and your good to go!

    • Jodie Filogomo

You hit the nail on the head, Lindsey!! They are so much easier than separates!!
I totally can’t wait to see what you picked out!! I truly love the selection they have!!

  • Your dress is gorgeous! I wish I had seen you in Target…it would have made my day.

    • Jodie Filogomo

Well, we are there probably every other week, Anna, LOL….so maybe next time!!

  • Lesley Watson

Love all three dress and the way you’ve styled them, You all look ready for Mother’s Day Brunch. Have a great warm weekend. I’ve always loved to wear dresses.

    • Jodie Filogomo

Thanks Lesley!! We are going out to eat on Mother’s Day—after we visit the Botanic Gardens (and take blog photos!!! My poor mother’s—it’s a never ending job, ha ha)
Happy Mother’s day to you too!! How are you celebrating??

  • donnanance

You are encouraging us to wear dresses by showing us some gorgeous offerings! Love your dress, Jodie! Very feminine. Nancy’s dress is the perfect color for her and her accessories are spot on. Your mom’s dress is such a pretty color…I clicked through and prefer the green one. I clicked on the Embroidery Shift Dress but alas, it was not in my size.

    • Jodie Filogomo

I do think this site has some of the prettiest dresses! And they do make getting dressed easy!
I also think the availability of sizes makes it hard. I know when I’m picking them out, they don’t always have all of the sizes for each item. But I guess that’s the fact with the flash sale sites—annoying!! But some great deals at times!! There were a couple of dresses I wanted that didn’t come in my size, but luckily I found others!!

  • Debbie Stinedurf

You all look gorgeous, but omg Jodie…your dress is perfection! Especially with the sneakers & jacket! You’re killin’ it sister!

    • Jodie Filogomo

Thanks so much Debbie!! I would never have thought to wear this dress this way before blogging, so I call that a win!!

  • All of you look terrific! Nancy’s dress is my fav.

Hooray for a new site for shopping and wishing and planning!

How long does it take for an order from VIP to arrive?

    • Jodie Filogomo

Great question Jean….Usually it took about a week to week and a half. They arrive by DHL and because they’ve been package, I do have to steam them when I get them!!
Isn’t the color on Nancy’s just so pretty!! Wait until you see her one tomorrow!!

  • Mary Kalpos

Jodie you are a total rock star!!

    • Jodie Filogomo

Ha ha…that’s a little funny Mary, because I certainly don’t feel like one!! But thank you—that’s so nice!! 🙂

  • kristin mccarthy

I need to hit the mall

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Shopping is my middle name!!

  • I always come away from here inspired!

    • Jodie Filogomo

      How nice Michele…thanks!!

  • These are great dresses! I especially love Nancy’s green number! Gemma x

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Gemma!!
Isn’t Nancy’s just gorgeous?? Wait until you see her one tomorrow!!

  • Rebecca Phillips

    Another great post. Pinned!

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Rebecca!! That’s so nice!

  • BarbaraRP

A few weeks ago, I was invited at the last minute to attend a wedding with my son, because his girlfriend was sick. Fortunately I had a very cute dress in my closet. I also had a dressy cross body purse and a pair of ballet sandals with the wrap around ties. One thing was missing though, since the dress was sleeveless, I had to run to Target to pick up a cute sweater. The sweater I chose, not only works with the dress, but could also be worn with other outfits as well.
Something I’ve loved wearing for the past few years are skorts. I feel so much more polished when I wear them, as opposed to shorts and added two more of them to my wardrobe (one in aqua and another one in medium denim) for a total of three.

    • Jodie Filogomo

Your story is exactly why it’s nice to already have something instead of stressing out at the last minute!! Because those events come around at some time or another!!
I started wearing skirts more in the summer when I turned 45—instead of shorts. I still have a couple pair of short—but they get worn less and less now!!
Thanks so much for your story, Barbara!!

  • Bernadette Laganella

I love to wear dresses especially in the summer. Since I have decided not to wear shorts anymore dresses are my go to attire in the summer. Love the sneakers.

    • Jodie Filogomo

That’s so fabulous to hear Bernadette!!
I think when I turned 45, I decided to wear skirts in the summer instead of shorts. I still have a couple pair of shorts, but they get worn less and less!!
Besides skirts & dresses are so flattering—and functional when I can wear my sneakers!!

  • Bev @ Walking Well With God

Love the look of dresses…they can be lots of fun and sometimes much more comfortable around the midsection, allowing you to move and breathe.
    Love the dresses you showed,
    Bev xx

    • Jodie Filogomo

Exactly Bev!! You make a perfect point with this!!
      Thanks for the love!!

  • Karen

I am a dress girl for sure, skirts too. I wear them to work at least 3 of the 4 days each week, often every day, so I have a lot of both. Our dress code at work specifies that we must wear stockings, and I even like that because I feel so polished and professional. (It’s costly though, when you buy super sheer ones!) Anyway, I love your dresses here. You picked very flattering styles for each of you. I love the blush color that is so popular. Can’t wear it, so I have to incorporate it into shoes and purses and totes. It is a color I really love! Your dress is so beautiful with the tucks, really adds so much interest. Also Nancy’s dress, love the green and her shoes!!! It’s so pretty from the side with the uneven hemline, and that ruffled sleeve on the one side adds so much interest! Your mom looks so stylish! That’s a great color on her and I like how you added in the coral/orange – perfect with the teal color! I love her fluttery hemline, just so very pretty. The styles shown here are also pretty, my favorite has to be the blue dress! I wear sundresses and skorts a whole lot more than shorts in the summer, and that blue dress would be so perfect for casual evenings, say in a winery?! Hmmmm…..going to check that one out! : )

    • Jodie Filogomo

I do think it’s nice when women wear dresses and skirts—at least it’s nice to have the choice. I used to try to wear them when I worked, but it was extremely hard to straddle the dental chair with them on!! So I ended up resorting to trousers ….
But I’d always wear them on the weekends and they are still my favorite!! I mean, don’t you look a a woman in a dress and just think it’s such a nice look?
That blue dress that you like was one that I had picked out for Nancy—it’s such a gorgeous color and interesting design!!
Thanks for all of the love, Karen. I know mom & Nancy will enjoy reading it too!!

  • mummabstylish

I can’t even pick, all these dresses looks super special on! Nice to see your blog Jodie. x Jacqui

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Jacqui!!

  • Such lovely post. I am dressing incredibly casually now I have retired and live on the coast. I rarely have any need to ‘dress up’ and am actually very grateful. I admire your models very much!

    • Jodie Filogomo

It’s so true that our lives and society has gotten increasingly more casual. And I very much appreciate that at times too. Yet there are other times that I still yearn for the lovely, sophisticated looks from yesteryear. Maybe that’s why I love getting new dresses more often than not???
Thanks so much for your voice in this Denyse!! 🙂

  • Min Write of the Middle

Oh I love all of your dresses! No favourites this week – you all look stunning ladies! 🙂 #TeamLovinLife

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks so much Min!!

  • Wow, the 3 of you look really amazing – as always. In summer I live in casual beach style dresses – the sort you pick up from an Asian market for hardly anything. It’s May (so late Autumn) here on the Sunshine Coast & I’m still wearing them. When I was working in an office I liked a good frock – and that cross over style does amazing things for curves like mine. #TeamLovinLife

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks tons Jo!!
I do think dresses are so easy—it’s always amazing when women say they won’t wear them anymore!!

  • Jan Correll

Love this post, Jodie and all three of you look amazing! I would rather wear a dress than anything!!

    • Jodie Filogomo

      Thanks Jan!!
I hear you!! I think they are just so much easier and fun than separates!!

  • Versatilestylebytracey

I love dresses and skirts a tot, in fact wearing a skirt today, lol. I am definitely wearing more casual dresses these days because they fit my lifestyle and can be worn often. There really is something fun about having a few dressier options and wearing them with heels. Casual dresses with sneakers are among my favorite options. I love your dress, but it would be outside my comfort zone to wear with sneakers. More power to you for being braver than me, lol

      Thanks Tracey!!
Well, I certainly wouldn’t have worn this dress with sneakers before my blogging days!! But I’m glad I’ve become more adventuresome!! And no one laughed and pointed when we were out shopping—at least that I saw, LOL!!

Well, this post is just right up my alley… I love dresses and skirts! My closet is full of both and I don’t wait for occasions to wear them. It’s not unusual to find me wearing a dress just doing my grocery shopping!
You all look wonderful, as always! Jodie, I just love your dress and your styling choices. I love the idea of taking what could be a dressier dress and adding something a little unexpected like the jacket.
Nancy’s one sleeved dress is a nice twist and the shoes are ADORABLE!
Finally, your mom’s color combination is just lovely on her. A nice departure from the old matchy matchy makes it look much more modern.

Well Rhona—you and I are so alike then!! Because I do that too!! In fact, the day we took these photos, we were going to Target—and maybe I was more dressed up than most in the store, but why is that bad??
Hearing you talk this way, makes me sure you should add the fashion piece to your blog!! Just sayin’!!
Thanks for the love for mom & Nancy too—I forwarded the comment to them so they can both read it!!
