Updates of Previous Posts:
Does anyone else watch “Shark Tank?” I think my favorite part is the updates! It’s nice to see how a company is really doing once they’ve been on the show. So here’s my version of updates from a year ago.
Elbow Patches: I loved the sequined patches on this sweater and I’ve worn it at least 3 times since adding them to the elbows. Unfortunately, as good as they looked (at first), they didn’t hold up functionally. The patches didn’t bend well and considering my elbows move quite a bit, the patches started coming off. Even the sequins started losing their adhesive on the patches and would droop. I just removed the patches, and now need to find a better alternative since there are holes in the elbows. Boot Support: I’m still using the egg cartons for my boots. It’s inexpensive & extremely easy! I didn’t mention it in the original post, but I usually tear the carton in half and use the top half for one boot, and the bottom half for the other boot. There are times the carton gets mangled (especially if I’m in a hurry and just shove it in the boot haphazardly). The wonderful thing when this happens is I just wait until the next egg carton is empty, and voila—I have a new one at no additional cost! Original post can be viewed here.
Cabinet Organizers: These “shoe organizers” were one the greatest tips I’ve found from Pinterest. We just recently moved into a smaller place and using these “shoe organizers” (as you can see in my post, they can be used for so much more), have been a lifesaver. They have help me with keeping my kitchen straightened out (they are a great way to help me fit my gadgets in less space) as well as all my closets. When we moved most of the velcro I used to hang them at our original place stayed on the fabric pieces, I only had to replace the backing (I like using velcro instead of the over the door hangers, so you can’t see them from the outside). If you’re looking for this kind of organizer, here are a couple options: Original post can be viewed here.
