Daily Outfits: Week Ending 7.4.25

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

I kept with the holiday color scheme for 3 of the days. Since I have plenty of red, white, and blue items in my closet, it’s not a hard challenge.

My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

Considering I just found these blue linen pants while thrifting (here is the video showing all of my finds), I had to create a red, white, and blue look for the upcoming holiday.

I had worn this white top on Monday of last week, but it was only on for half the day, so I had it waiting to wear again.

I love a good bolero because it gives some coverage without overpowering the outfit. Here are some options if you love them as much as I do.

Then I wore red accessories (the scarf turned into a flower is safety pinned to the pants waistband).

These red rope shoes have been a great addition for the summer because they don’t cover much of my foot.

SUNDAY

This is one of the items I found thrifting last Friday. If you watched the video of what I bought, I talked about the ties.

The ties are in 2 places on both sides of the dress and are adjustable, but somewhat annoying. I may sew and then cut them off, but for today, I undid them at the sides and just made bows in the front. Kinda like a corset. Hmmmm.

I added my white denim vest (seen in my double denim article) and the neon yellow sandals I also just thrifted. The sandals have the coolest buckle idea, and I might try to reproduce it instead of my velcro trick.

MONDAY

It’s all Lesley’s fault that I bought this vest. She had it on earlier last fall, and I fell in love with it.

I was taking my mom to the dentist today, so I wanted to create a somewhat professional outfit around it.

I wore this yellow skirt that was one of my best impulse buys from over 12 years ago. You’ve seen it before, even as far back as 2016.

This ruffled blouse was a thrifted find, and the yellow print heels are dressy but have a hint of sassiness.

TUESDAY (With Annabelle)

This top isn’t something I’d normally buy, but it was part of a set for $1 last summer, and the material just spoke to me.
I had to “alter” the back strap as described in an easy alteration article.

It’s a crop top, yet since the shorts are so high-waisted, you hardly see any skin in between.

I wore a gold chain belt and even added a tassel (home decor) to my belt loop for added sass.

Bracelets aren’t always part of my summer looks, but I went with a bunch of smaller ones that flow and aren’t as heavy.

WEDNESDAY

Another red, white, and blue outfit with a new red eyelet blouse from the TikTok shop. I searched high and low to make sure the one I bought would be natural materials, and this one is fabulous.

I’ve had these pants for ages (styled with purple in the past). I always imagined that if I got tired of the ruffle at the bottom, I could cut it off and make them capris. So far, I still love the ruffle.

And this print tank is a Cabi brand that I thrifted. I had to “fix” it many ways, including adding trim under the straps so they wouldn’t twist and tacking down the front panel.

I wore my new Croc sandals because they are so comfy and cool.

FRIDAY

Happy 4th! I found this kid’s dress thrifting last year, and it’s perfect for the holiday. See the back view at the top of this post.

Oh, and I’m wearing boob tape.

My new faux hair bun is a tad lighter than my natural hair, but hey…it’s all good.

I wore my red rope sandals again as well as the same scarf in my hair from our Nautical prompt.

Also, I added clip earrings on each strap in the front, but because they basically “match” you don’t even notice them. I should follow my own advice and remember to contrast. LOL.

Thank you
