Chunky Knits for the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s: For Work
Quote of the day: “Put blinders onto those things that hold you back, especially the ones in your own head.” Meryl Streep
Wearing your chunky knit sweater in a work environment can be possible in many situations. The addition of appropriate work pants, mid heels, and a garnish of jewelry is the key. Drop over to see Chunky Knits with jeans (here) and over a dress (here).
Even if you don’t love the idea of big sweaters, I’ve experimented with fun ways to wear them.

50’s Chunky Knits: I layered a white blouse under my sweater to give the sweater a more serious note. I love this belt over things like sweaters and dresses but not on pants because it snaps in the back…so here is a perfect time to wear it!

60’s Chunky Knits: Nancy’s sweater’s chunkiness comes from it’s cables, yet it is slim through the arms. Consequently, I had her wear a jacket over the sweater for the work place.

70’s Chunky Knits: For this office look, we layered the sweater over a silk blouse. Adding light colored slacks accentuates the gorgeous colors of the sweater.
