Daily Looks: Week Ending 9.5.25

I appreciate each and every share. Thank you!

Nothing special except life itself. Thus, every day includes wearing my “good” clothes and experimenting with different ideas.

My emails are my way to share fun and positive content with you from all of the sites I visit during the week. Sure, you also get my free eBook when you sign up, but that’s not the best part.
The best part is you get a daily dose of positive energy.

SATURDAY

I came across a great trick for wearing a square scarf as a top. If you received my email, you saw how I decorated the back view.

I was going to wear olive green pants, but since we were attending a Peach festival that would be outside, I opted for shorts instead.

This scarf has been a favorite…you’ve seen it from ages ago on my original crew.

SUNDAY

This tannish-orange dress is one that I’ve talked about styling when a dress seems too tight.
I realize everyone’s definition of “too tight” is different, and many of you would say that I have a great figure, so I should show it off. But I do have a modest streak… thus…

I wanted to wear this top that I recreated from an eShakti dress. I’ve worn it with white in the past, but wanted to try it with another option.
I may try black next time.

My gold and black sandals, along with my gold jewelry, finished off the look.

BTW, the “scarves” in my hair match the print of the blouse because I made them from the leftover material.

MONDAY

I asked ChatGPT what I should wear for a Labor Day BBQ in AZ, and this was the result.

I’ve shown different examples of proportions with this tiered skirt in the past.

And then I paired this thrifted strapless top (which I love because of the elastic at the waist…then there’s no vacillating on whether to tuck or not).

Rose gold sandals, a colorful straw hat, statement earrings, and a crossbody bag completed the prompt from ChatGPT.

TUESDAY

I wouldn’t have thought to pair this dress with these pants except they were hanging on my valet rod together, and it made me go “hmmmm.”

I always love the idea of a dress with pants, but I’m not always successful. Yet I like how these came together.

The pants have been worn with a tulle skirt as my top, and I tucked the waist ties inside and used a magnet brooch as a “belt buckle.”

I’ve worn the dress as a duster and even as a dress in the past. Today, it’s a top.

No, I don’t look thinner or taller, but to me it’s fun and creative.

I made my own necklace out of 2 bracelets and a brooch. Want to see the video?

WEDNESDAY

What are your thoughts about a head scarf? I’ve been playing around with them this summer, and love the option for the days when my hair isn’t behaving.

I know I’ve talked about them in a post with that subject, but I’ve been trying even more styles, and I have to admit, it takes a while to get used to them.

In a way, I guess, it’s no different than getting used to seeing yourself in a hat, right?

Anyway, I believe that the headscarf takes the focus away from the short shorts. Am I wrong?

This pink hand-knit tank is worn over a sleep cami (and I’ve showcased the knit tank many years ago as the double lace option).

FRIDAY

IF you like seeing the thoughts and process behind the outfit…here’s the video.

I’ve worn this tiered dress by itself in the past, but wanted to see how I could change it up.

So I put this red embroidered top over it (seen full length here) and “cropped” it with my beltless belt.

I liked the small ruffle of the dress sticking out of the neckline of the top. For the very bottom of the “v”, I had to safety pin it together.

I wore tan sandals but added a clip-on earring on the top strap.

And then used my gold flexible necklace as a bracelet.

Thank you
